Ely was to be the starting point for 'Flying Sotsman' hauled train to Norwich. Unfortunately 60103 was declared a failure (hot-box) at Peterborough, after its trip from York, so 47760 was substituted.
Earlier, various trains are seen passing the station including a RHTT with 57007 and 57002, and a freight headed by 66599 and 66516.
Various units are seen before 66753 heads south with a freight. Finally 47760 draws forward from the sidings with the special while 66416 grinds to a halt in the backgound with a northbound freight.
