Thanks for the video, my family and I were there last yea,, been going to Ely for 23 years and renting a cabin at Timber Trail Lodge. a great get away from illinois!!

Visited Ely on our way to Canada. We were at the top Main Street, walking down, enjoying the shops. I went inside a shop to look and go to the bathroom. When I rejoined my wife , outside, she was laughing, hysterically. I asked what happened. She dsaid a guy on his skateboard bombed the hill. Right down the road on a skateboard, and I missed it. Do the Rootbeer lady?”

Thats a great video!, walking the town like that was priceless for people like me & others needing to see what its like, I'm thinking of moving up there, my GF lives below in North Mankato, I'm in Oakland calif, would be a big change lol...anyhoo, Thanks again, be safe!

@@walkingminnesota Yes it would be, I am close to the Sierras, so, Camping was always big with me, and 4 wheeling at the Rubicon Trail by Tahoe, its too busy here, idiot drivers etc lol....I'll get up to Ely soon! ;o)
