No she isn't supposed to be knowledgable on football, she isn't a coach, an analyst, a statistician, or someone who claims to be one. She's a presenter, her job is to be charismatic on camera, get the most out of the person she's interviewing, all while she's got someone constantly speaking in her ear, they literally said it in the video. You don't need more than a basic surface level knowledge on football to be a presenter. She knows as much as she needs to know, and she's still learning.

If presenters had jobs because of their looks they'd make Lauren Alexis an offer, a much more high profile and conventionally attractive person. They didn't even say she had her job because of her football knowledge, she has it because she can be charismatic on camera and get the most out of a person she's interviewing. You don't need a lot of football knowledge to be a presenter.

it is definitely possible to suffer from anxiety and still be able to articulate. it could just be that she suffers more at home and has gotten much better at presenting and speaking from experience

You can speak clearly and be articulate and still get anxious and have social anxiety. For example you could be a lot more relaxed with family compared to friends or strangers.
