"Quiet for a couple years"......."Incoherent out of his mind on drugs and overdosing to within an inch of death, which caused temporary brain trauma and a painful recovery to get clean"........same thing 😜😁
@Гошо Филмара Thanks for sharing your list. Appreciate the detail on each of the artists too. Most of the names I'm familiar with, but not MF DOOM. I'll go check him out now.
@Гошо Филмара I can't say that I agree bc I would put biggie there too and 2pac higher,Em for me is atleast top 3 sometimes first but that's my opinion and yours is pretty good not gonna lie.
Kanye was just the first to admit it. lol. Then wayne felt safe to admit it. Then drake sent it off to his ghost writers for a re-do. Em does this to everyone and somehow they get ranked above him?? gtfoh
@@xtravagentk1275 Did you call drake and ask him? How would you know he didn't? If Kanye and Weezy, both better rappers, re-did their verse, you don't think Drake would have as well? And honestly, it wouldn't matter, Drake didn't write it to begin with! lol
@@reidos8992nah my dude og rapper’s literally say that about EM matter of fact Wayne said that himself lol however Wayne is super talented so he can keep up
Not just tht earlier he was ranting abt pink n grammys.. "I had my hit playing on loop.. What's pink big hit this year?" "Pinks pretty big. U know tht right? " "I know now" 😆
That Em verse legit gave me chills when I first heard that he was no where to be found for years and legit everyone was patiently waiting for his return
I got it from genius: Genius Annotation Quintuple entendre people! The buzz he’s talkin about was: his buzz cut when he first blew up. the amount of publicity he had when he almost overdosed the actual buzz the fans are producing for him. the buzz of the defibrilator used to revive him following an OD. The high one gets when using drugs or alcohol is also called a “buzz” Reference to Em’s drug problems in the period between Encore (2004) and Relapse (2009) A buzz for the average person is the result of a couple drinks or a puff of a joint-even a cigarette for some. This line suggests that a buzz for Eminem is an overdose (in parallel to over-performing). Hence: Eminem has an outrageously high drug tolerance (as opposed to other rappers who get a buzz from less good performance).
We here for the content. Everyone's heard this a thousand times. We still here. Keep doing great bro and em is flames as usual, i MISS kanye's older stuff like this and graduation's ish tho, not gonna lie.
The time of when this came out and what was going on with Em and for he did on this song was truly something special, unless you were following things and listening back then and hip to it, you rly can’t understand how special it was It was like seeing Michael Jordan back after he retired
One thing I love about this verse is he uses “we” during the whole midsection of the verse. He’s not solely trying to steal the show, he’s also shouting out the other three artists
@@ikkyandmalik1274 wayne also re-wrote his after hearing eminems. Em never re-wrote anything. So, that tells you all you need to know about what wayne thought of his first effort. "damn, that aint good enough, I cant get bodied like that"
@@ikkyandmalik1274 I don't think I disagree enough with that statement to argue with you over it. lol. I think a reasonable person could make a decent argument that's true.
Gonna stay requesting the SHaDYXV cypher....Yelawolf slaughterhouse and em. Do the full thing not just Em's part everyone always does just Em's. Think it's 18 mins total. Can't wait see this breakdown lol
In the song Fall, eminem references how he detroyed this track ,and in No Love which you already reacted to eminem talks about how kanye rewrote his lines to this song
One of my favorite Em verses...what he said, how he said it, and who he was with on the track just made it so sick to me especially since he was last, as he always should be
Yeah they thought competitively and Kanye took two days em in and out lil Wayne rewrote as well but they didn't say how cause he has different methods drake added autotune
@@nolanblair9057 half right he writes Freestyles and records bar by bar I watched his documentary He also didn't find school hard and spelt phenomenal with an F ?
People wondering when we can get another track like this. It'd be hard. The 3 older rappers (Kanye, Wayne and Em) were at the top of the game when this came out. And Drake was a young prodigy prepared to set the world on fire. Not sure if there ever will be a hip hop/rap collab like this ever. Which makes this track especially legendary
It’s supposed to be like Drake is the youngin looking up at the rap game saying he wants it forever and it’s the three on the top telling him what’s it’s like. Fire.
“He ain't had him a buzz like this since the last time he overdosed” 🔥🔥🔥 “They've been waiting patiently for Pinocchio to poke his nose” was also a rebuttal for Gucci Mane for talking about him in Mariah Carey’s Obessed Remix. I love the dope 8-multi syllable rhyme scheme here! Back into the game and they know Bashin' in the brains of these hoes e-stablishin' a name as he goes Em had multi-syllables, punchlines, similes, metaphors, double meaning, personification, flow switches. I rate it: Em > Wayne > Drake > Kanye
The thing I like about this song so much is it gets progressively better each verse. Drake was bringing heat, kanye was like embers of a fire hot but not fuming, lil Wayne cane in with the fire and em ended the shit with straight lava
Em never trying to fit in and do what those before his verse(s) did. He claims song, going for the kill because everything is a competition to Em. He even makes people rewrite their verses just to realize they've still been weighed, measured and found wanting. No mercy!
Thanks for reacting to this Stevie! Please react to some RoyceDa5'9. Tricked from his last album was 🔥. There is also a skit called perspective, where Em shares his toughts about hiphop and white privilige. I would love to hear your toughts regarding it!
@@zykarionng6633 Wayne didn't re write his verse. But he didn't freestyle it either. He knew what he was gonna say when he got in the booth. Whether he wrote it down or not, that means it ain't a freestyle.
What’s up player? How you’ve been! Keep Rockin it brother! Always enjoy! 🤘😎🤘and yes! When EM says that, your like damn bro! Said that on the track damn!!!!!!!
The passion and the flame is ignited you cant put it out once we light it 🔥🔥🔥 that was fire basically saying ya go ahead and spit cause when i go its over ya not stopping it cause ya cant f with me lol
This is why nobody features Eminem anymore. If you feature Eminem, it's not your song anymore. Even Snoop said on Hot97 that he won't collab with Eminem anymore because Em always overshadows everyone else on the tracks.
