Prayer for pastor Ed 👪

Shane through God's Grace He brought me of Victory Outreach. I was involved in this movement for 10yrs. The mindset that I had was that there was no other church that had the " anointing" that we had I was brained wash in thinking this way. I'm now at a healthy church with a pastor the went and graduated from Masters Seminary.

Praise be to God, and thank you so much for sharing your testimony. I was saved in prison on April 4th 2006, and ended up in VO for 3.5 years after I left prison. And against the VO leaders will I was listening to Macarthur, Washer, Lawson etc, and from there I got into the puritans and reformers and left VO on good terms. I have since been married, and just had our third child. We also go to a great Church where the minister and his wife are graduates from Masters. I too was taught VO is the only true Church and if I leave VO I am out of God's will and out from His protection, but since I left my life has flourished in every way. My wife and I bought a house and now have our own exporting company, we are surrounded by solid Christian men and woman. I still preach the Gospel on the streets, in the prisons and schools and am finishing my Bachelor in theology with a desire to do full-time ministry that is financially supported by our own company. Praise be to God for He is Faithful to save His people, and He uses all things in His perfect wisdom to conform His people to Christ. Thank you for your comment David, but just so that it makes sense to everyone can you please show us how you come to this conclusion. Show everyone where what I said is untrue. As oppose to just saying "Shane you have no idea what your talking about" Lets have a mature discussion my friend. Please keep in mind that I know cults so well that I'm willing to guess how you will respond to what I just said, and can be ABSOLUTELY sure that this is how you will respond, even after telling you.1 - Call names, make unreasonable accusations. 2 - Then refuse to dialogue about the accusations just made.3 - Then turn it around to make out I'm harassing you when I kindly ask why you've said what you said.If you are apart of this group you will either do these 3 things or not respond at all, but you will not, and cannot have a reasonable and mature discussion in regards to the video and my comments on it if you are apart of this group!How do I know you may ask? well I have done a lot of research on cults and all of them are governed virtually the same way creating people who blindly follow their leader and are unable to think for themselves or reason outside what the group has told them. So to engage with me on a mature discussion on facts that are presented in my comments is impossible for a cult member because they are simply taught not to ever question their leader and that anyone who does is a rebel, or unsaved or has a demon. Defending The Faith - dude you seriously need to get your head out of the gutter. If you think that I will sit by idley while you drag my Pastor's name through the mud, you are sadly mistaken!!! 😡😡😡 Pastor Ed is a great man who has led countless numbers of people to a relationship with Jesus. What have you done? Because all I see is you doing a lot of complaining. Because he didn't go to graduate school doesn't mean he was not smart. His preaching was legendary and prophetic. A lot of his prophecies have come to pass. I am going to caution you brother against talking down about God's anointed. Because right now Pastor Ed is being rewarded with an eternal life with Jesus because of what he did on this planet. What the hell have you done? Thank you for your comment my friend, can you please tell me why you think Ed is "God's anointed"? and please show me where what I said is wrong, so that I can be corrected. Because I am only following what God has told me to do, please understand the bible DOES teach us to judge! but it teaches us NOT to judge HYPOCRITICALLY. Matthew 7:1-5 verse five says "first remove the blank from your own eye, and THEN you will see clearly to REMOVE the speck from your brothers eye" The bible teaches to JUDGE those "inside the Church" 1 Corinthians 5:12-13 12 For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not JUDGE THOSE WHO ARE INSIDE? 13 But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.” John 7:24 Do not judge according to appearance, but JUDGE with righteous judgment.” Paul named and spoke against certain men in 2 Tim. 2:16-17, 2 Tim. 4:14-15 and 1 Tim. 1:19-20. John named a man who was in error in 3 John 1:9-10. Paul publicly corrected Peter, a fellow Apostle, in Galatians 2:11-14. Leaders caught in false teaching or immorality are to be rebuked publicly as 1 Tim. 5:20 says. Christians who won't repent must be removed from the church - Matt. 18:15-17. So much more could be said but I guess the bottom line is in James 5:19-20 19 Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, 20 let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul[f] from death and cover a multitude of sins. We expose error because God tells us to (Ephesians 5:11, Titus 1:9 etc) and because we love people enough to point them to the truth even if it means people may get upset with you along the way. But when some one is turned away from the lies that keep people in bondage, there is nothing in the world that can compare to the value of even 1 soul that turns to serve the 1 true living God.
