If I wanted to send a email to a customer which is only emailed to a admin account, what would I write in the recipient box?

Hi I have changed my default admin email address, but still receiving the new order mails on it, regardless of change to a new admin email. I've also deleted the old admin emails' user from the site, but still its sending to that old email also. Any resoluion?
