This is mine and my husbands song! My brother and his wife sang it at our wedding almost 26 years ago. We are getting ready to have our Anniversary next week. This just had me crying my eyes out last night. Thank you so much for singing our song. It moved me beyond ways that I can explain. She is so fabulous. I hope she wins. After a difficult day with my Dad who has Dementia she finally brought me some much precious needed peace that I needed. How amazing for a young lady this age to have a God's gift such as this.

I thought tears were a foregone result of listening to something beautiful and other-worldly. The work that goes into producing a performance like that should also be appreciated as well. How can someone so young put so much genuine feeling into a song? That’s what comes through to me, not the beauty of her voice (which of course is beautiful) or the lyrics (which I can’t understand). You don’t have to enjoy or understand opera either. You just have to listen with something other than your ears and it’s so moving. That’s amazing when any artist does it because true artists are rare enough. But for this art to come from someone so young is mind-blowing indeed.

She doesn't push the sound out, she lets it come out with complete control (though she will learn to clean up the vibrato better). Very rare and incredible.

@@cpaphoto1 Yes Jackie's vibrato was very fast and nervous-sounding when she was Emanne's age but it started mellowing out after her puberty. And now at 20 her vibrato is absolutely beautiful. We will see how Emanne's voice changes through the years...I fully expect her to stay in opera, whereas Jackie has gone into Broadway and pop/rock.

I was never one to really be into Opera but I’m now having a change of heart. This girl with her vocal abilities and at such a young age takes me to another place when I listen to her sing. Opera really is beautiful and kinda makes me feel somewhat sad when I listen...but I feel Emanne could win this and even if she doesn’t her phone will be ringing off the hook! She’s got it! One of my absolute favorites in the competition. Not sure what language she sung this in but it was perfection!

Her control has gotten a lot better from her audition! She used to go a little sharp on those high notes which is a common thing in Opera. She's been practicing & working & really hard! I'm really proud of her!

That girl should win this competition hands down. I love Bennie, but Emanne is at a whole other level. She just took pop love song and made it into an operatic aria, with beauty and grace that captured the premise of the original version, and enhanced it with the emotional expression she rendered. She made the song better ... softer, more committed. At 11 years of age. Who does that? That is mind blowing. Her connection with the emotions in her songs is stunning to watch and hear. Her timing is impeccable. Every song she has performed she has nailed the timing to perfection. Every song. Her future is here, right now. This girl is better than every child opera vocalist I've seen compete in these types of things, bar none. Jackie Evanko included. This girl is world class at 11years of age. Imagine where her training and growth is going to lead her. I think Maria Callas herself would have loved hearing that. Incredible. World class at 11... amazing.

I think one of the problems with sopranos not winning is that few have a high quality stereo system that truely presents the ladies voices. The disconnect between the audience reaction and home viewers votes is obvious and real. To hear Emanne in all her glory on my stereo system is a true privilege. This lady is a superstar and deservedly so.

@@EntertainmentFan11 Yes, it was a narrow escape, whioch could mean she does not have enough voting strength to win the finals. I actually thought all 3 acts in the final save group should have been voted straight through, and put the 2 choral groups in the final save group. But I am content with the voting in semis 2, unlike semis 1, where I thought several acts got voted through by voters unwisely, and some who should have gone on did not.
