If there’s one thing the legendary trainer Emanuel Steward loved. It was length guys who worked behind a controlling jab & pressed with a powerful cross.
Could you imagine the talent in the 80s and 90s Hearns, McClellan, McCallum, McCory, Michael Moorer, James Toney would go there and spar all the time….there footage of him sparring Gerald McClellan on RU-vid
Michael Moore ALSO came out of the KRONX gym as well... What's the best South Paw & UNDEFEATED under Emmanuel Stewart. With the win over Evander Holyfield.
I have to admit, I’m not sure why it slipped my mind when I made this video. For whatever reason I associate Moorer with Teddy Atlas because I know him better as a HW than a LHW. But you’re right. He was an animal under Kronk during his LHW days. I wonder why they split when they were undefeated

I trained there for 3 years but never met steward, he had already passed. By tha point we were working out in a church basement. It's now flooded and everyone there split up, some of the best memories of my life there and all I have is a t shirt 🥲
That’s amazing that you got to stand in the gym that developed so many world champions. It’s unfortunate that everything has an expiration date. At least memories never fade 🙏
