Riptides Covers it hurts my head! because I keep waiting for the next lyric to come and it never does...just during the chorus idk the mash up of the songs hurts my ears lol
@@cristinapereira5399 Considering the lyrics "This is the last night in my body" sung in the exact same melody are straight from multiple songs from The Receiving End of Sirens, I'm gonna guess that TREOS's albums "Between the Heart and the Synapse" and "The Earth Sings Mi Fa Mi" were probably a greater influence. Especially since the reuse of guitar hooks as vocal melodies, and bass lines and guitar fills happened more than once on TREOS's first album.
6 years later and this song is still one of the most creative and moving ones I've heard in my entire life. Brilliant. It's just brilliant, brilliant and beautiful.
Lyrics: I’m feeling like I’m high enough now And you love what I love but it just ain’t enough now And I don’t deserve you And it all comes down we lost you. I think we’ll meet again (just say yes, just say yes) And I don’t deserve you And it all goes down without you. I think we’ll meet again (just say yes, just say yes) Watching you die a little, watching you cry (cry, cry, cry, cry, cry) A lot This is my apology, I’m feeling lean You know you matter so much to me And I don’t deserve you Only the fall is mine. I’m feeling it's more than fine But I’m stuck sad and saying we can try it again You’ve got your head in your hands. I am giving in You want to talk... and I’m giving up But I’m stuck sad and saying we can try it again (I don’t mind where you’re going) You’ve got your head in your hands. I am giving in (the remedy, remedy’s the same) I don’t mind, now you know me (I can't lose you) The remedy, remedy’s the same Don’t you worry mama, your boy is a goner (I can't lose you) Don’t you worry mama, your boy is a goner (You'll find out you are strong) And I don’t deserve you Hey young lonely, hey young lonely Is it all okay? (you’ll find out you are strong) And I don’t deserve you Hey young lonely, hey young lonely Is it all okay? (you’ll find out you are strong) And I don’t deserve you And It all goes down without you This is the last night in my body You'll find out you are strong And I don’t deserve you You'll find out you are strong Only the fall is mine. I’m feeling it's more than fine Hey Young Lonely Hey Young Lonely And I don’t deserve you Only the fall is mine. I’m feeling it's more than fine Don't you worry mama Is it all okay? I don’t mind where you’re going The remedy, remedy’s the same...
131 but it’s all played at the same time Seriously though, ending off this album with this emotional medley and mashup of the previous songs has such an incredible effect and it’s goddamn original at least from what I’ve seen of bands off of Rise, Hopeless, Fearless, etc. It’s so beautiful, I love it. Great album, incredible song.
Creative Genius I live this the combination of references from each song on the album provided amazing closure to a 5 star album, thank u so much 😊 + Emarosa and + Hopeless Records
At first I wasn't too fond of this song. After a few more listens, and finding out the album has some personal songs to Bradley, I figured it's a song about moving on. "I don't deserve you" in between the other songs' lyrics from the album. Really cool concept!
I never did get back to you. Lmao. I forgot which songs exactly but it has lyrics from almost every song on the album except for like, 3 of them I think.
It's a B Side. Casey Bates (the band's producer) played bits of it on his Soundcloud podcast. Good luck beating it out of the band because it looks like they're not gonna release it anytime soon.
does this hurt anyone else's ears because you're waiting for the next lyric of the song but it never comes? All the mix up of lyrics has my ears hurting is that weird
