How much per tooth

Its a very tough problem in my experience as a dentist. I completely agree that the patient doesn’t need veneers. Honestly I rarely ever recommend veneers to a patient, but patients ask for them very frequently. I tell them the issues with veneers, the benefits of having your natural teeth, options to improve esthetics of natural teeth, etc. Depending on how the patient reacts, I can tell if they believe me. Honestly, most of the time, the patient gets annoyed that I didn’t just give them veneers. Now I’m in a tough position. If I don’t give them veneers, they’ll just go the practice down the street that will give them veneers no questions asked. Many dentists operate this way. The problem is I KNOW I can do a great veneer with minimal prep, preserve as much tooth as possible, match the color, get proper incisal translucency. I have no idea whether the other dentist is going to do good work or not. Sadly there is an abundance of bad dentistry out there. Essentially, should I refer the patient down the street where I have no idea if the treatment is going to be good or should I just give them the veneers they want and do a good job? It’s a tough dilemma and I can honestly see it go both ways.

Simply tell him you're very sensitive to this kind of pain, and you're really uncomfortable to go through without anesthesia because you tried it before. I had a filling before, the cavity was small and it didn't require anesthesia but the pain was horrible for me and i asked my dentist to give some and he understood and gave 2 ampoules and also i was feeling it slightly. So the pain intolerance really differ from a person to another person.

Ask the dentist to use local anesthesia. There isnt any problem in asking mr yatin. That's a very normal situation if you have pain inform the dentist about it and he or she shall use anesthesia as per the requirement.

Depends where you go to. Maybe find a dentist that uses laughing gas before he injects anaesthesia. Some keep topping up the anaesthesia so shouldn’t be painful unless it wears off. The teeth can be very sensitive after so get some good painkillers.

It is the biomimetic protocol.. heated composite has higher strength and has a more stable color. Resin cement can sometimes alter the color of the veneer..

The veneer is thin enough for the light to pass thru..so you can use a light cured composite in such veneerss

Before delivering the final veneers to the patient, temporary veneers are used for the esthetic purpose.

Because final veneers are customised by the lab. In between Doctor will fix the temporary veneers.
