You said that you had added your tune for the tinyhawk 2.0 in the description but I don't see it. I have pre ordered mine and would like to check out how you tuned it.
When you said you were going to have Kyle chase the drone, I thought you meant someone chasing you with another FPV. This was so much better! I was literally LOL. Also, I was about to pull the trigger on the OG Tinyhawk RTF kit (my first FPV), but fortunately they ran out just as I was about to. Kept checking for a couple weeks and then, for $10 more, they now have the 2 in the RTF. Should be here in a couple of days. So stoked to crack into this amazing hobby!
Couldn't have come at a better time! I smoked my TinyhawkS cause I tried updating to 4.1 RPM Filtering (updated ESCs to 16.73) which I found out can't be done (motors wouldn't spin up) so when I tried flashing back to 4.0 my driver had an issue and disconnected right in the middle of flashing and now the FC is cashed. So I decided instead of paying $55 for a replacement FC I decided to upgrade to the Tinyhawk 2. Sure wish I could update to 4.1 RPM Filtering tho!
Interesting. The PID changes automatically but the rate profile - that hasn’t been mentioned - must be changed manually in the menu. Specially when using 2 S with rate on 1 it’s hard to control.
It doesn't work well with D16 ACCESS mode. Well it works after some settings in BF but official site says it doesn't and I got rxloss problem too often. Overall it looks like a nice drone for beginners.
I got one of these gems, for 1S I use an XT30 and it is night and day. Voltage stability and flight times improved massively. I found the PH2.0 just sags even on 1S waaay to much, you get to use like 300mah of the 450mah. First time I charged them after using xt30 I had used 410mah which is a massive difference in available voltage and mah. Bt2.0 just sags as bad on a drome like this, its okay for 20g whoops like mob6 but if you use the 25000kv the bt2.0 won't cut it!!!!
I'm in Indy too. Do you have any idea where I can buy batteries for the EMAX EZ Pilot? All I can find on the internet is from China and summer will be almost over by the time they get here. If you know of a store around Indy I'd appreciate any info.
I bought the Tinyhawk II RTF Kit - With Controller & Goggles however realized you can't record with these goggles, what goggles are you able to record from? How do I find the goggles you have?

I love my tinyhawk.. I have other indoor drones and i still fly the tinyhawk.. My camera sucks. i have the regular runcam nano 2 700tvl .. but dont want to change and gain weight. baby ratel in my 2" is 1.2g more
How's that thing holding up? I just went through a ths and th2 in 3 weeks. Pretty sure esc's are burnt. Looking around, seems pretty common. C'mon Emax. I love the way it flys, hate the way it dies. 50 packs thew the ths, 100 packs threw the th2.

haha...how to scratch you lovely wooden floors. Did you test the outdoor signal range and compare it to the 'original' tinyhawk? I have the original and at around 75 yards the signal drops out. I'm hoping the TH2 will give me better range. What's your thoughts.?

The Tinyhawk S seems the best... Longer flight time, lightest, just as durable, can handle 1s and 2s, PNP motors, just as fast or even better. The only advantage of this is the adjustable camera with vtx that's it.
Nick "NB" was saying it will come set up to auto detect voltage im betaflight and select rate profiles accordingly for 1s voltage and 2s voltage?!... not sure of maybe this is why you fight notice a different wen not selecting the profile manually wen you switched batteries but it's something to look into... 🍻cheers🥃
I really dig my tiny hawk but the S model wasn't enough for me to step up to that, but now with the better camera and being able to change the angle is huge depending on what mood I'm in, thanks again and keep doing what you're doin #KillerNurk

Haha didn't even see this video before I started asking you about it yesterday. Amazing job competing at Flite Test against Ohio's best and their lightest builds with this bad boy. Proves you don't need to go crazy trying to make the lightest custom build to compete and even win some prize money.
Sorry, I didn't go through all the comments, may have been mentioned: So many people with these 1s/2s drones dont use automatic PID switching based on battery voltage!!! Do it, do it now! It will change your life!!!
I was really stoked when I saw this new version had come out so soon in the winter (expected something like it next summer without LEDS added) and wondering how much weight you would save if you used the original white frame that looks lighter with less drag. As for the durability of the original white frame about 0.2g added to the spoke ends (and cam) by using Shoe Goo and Kevlar string filament makes the original frame pretty much unbreakable under it's own weight.
Hmm...I just got the Th3 RTF as my 1st fpv..was it worth it?..The peripherals do seem better but what do I know hahah!? Being able to connect remote to a SIM is a big plus for me, and SD card in goggles.(being able to use them with other 'better' drones is what swung it really). Nice one for the video mate, really appreciated. Do drones make you rich or something, all the vids I'm watching the owners seem to have hundreds of drones & live in mansions🤣😂🤣😂🥰

"Andy RC Channel" noted that the PID warning card was not necessary as the T Hawk II senses the voltage differences when you change from 1s to 2s and auto changes the PID settings for you.
@@LookatTheseMuffins do you have the time to share some words of advice on the tinyhawk 2? I have had it for a month or so and have killed the 2s battery. My LHS doesnt have the emax 2s batteries for this drone on the regular but carry a few different tattu brand 2s batteries with an xt30 socket. Would you reckon i just buy more of the emax batteries offline or solder a xt30 socket to the board? Could i leave the original wires on there too and just tuck away whichever I'm not using?
@@gamblegambit I dont think I would even attempt to fly with my shepherd's around. The fastest of them catches frisbees 7ft in the air on a daily basis
@@SweetStat my baby is older, bad hips, she'd be lucky to hop 3" off the ground. But when i fly 3" or bigger, she's tied to the chair, when the goggles are on.

I mean it comes with d8 mode, and it is freaking annoying because I have Taranis 2019 with does not have d8 for some reason, I don’t even know what frsky wants, i have a tinyhawk here that I can’t fly because of this, so annoyjng
Great review Nurk! Definitely need to add this to my tinyhawk collection. Love the new nano2 cam in it. So much better than the old one. I won the tinyhawk s from Emax on instagram a while back and of course my dog killed it a bout a month after I got it in. So instead of buying a new fc for it I think ima just get the new 2.0 👍. My originally tinyhawk I still rippin mockingbird settings and everything. Love that one but have a feeling this one will be a bit better especially with the cam. Hopefully some of the white flashes from the vtx were fixed. Emax fan boy here I have most of their quads including the old night hawk lol. But the hawk 5 has been my fav from them. I even raced multigp with it for over a year. It did great and saw the podium a few times 👍👍
