Imagine the length Eritrea travelled towards creating solid relationship with its neighbors specially with Ethiopia from early on. The confidence to say "A STRONG, UNITED and STABLE ETHIOPIA is an asset to Eritrea" shows how principled Eritrea. If only successive Ethiopian leaders develop a fraction of this wisdom.

A strong Ethiopia would be self-reliant and would not depend on outside forces who want to distablize Eritrea through Ethiopia. As Ethiopia is not strong, it depends on outside forces for everything. This means the country would work for any outsiders who attack Eritrea like the US.
