I bet your floor looks beautiful and sparkly by the time you have finished . Lol . You have definitely inspired me to get the embossing powders out again . Thank you xx
I just got my first order from Zsoka and I love all of her designs! She is more modern which is my thing! I shouldn’t say simple becydhe does such intricate paper inlays!!! And so fast! She’s still young! Lol but I plan on ordering g S much as I can!
Marion Emberson I just sat and watched your video and thought...I know I'm gonna try that. So I had a beautiful image on plain white card stock then used my brayer with wow embossing pad sprinkled wow Niagra Blues over it shook off the excess and started to heat it with ny wow heat tool. I didn't hold it too close or for 2 long and the whole image disappeared 😭😭 what am I doing wrong.? It has the letters (OM) on embossing powder whatever that means. Help x
Hi Karen, my first thought is either your pad may be a little dry or you didn’t apply much ink with the brayer, if you go too soft it won’t transfer much. Did you heat from underneath, I always heat from underneath, especially with glitter embossing powders. If you heat from underneath you don’t even need embossing ink as the heat will melt it on the card. The letters stand for opaque marbelling, but if it was on white card, it wouldn’t make any difference. I hope that helps xx
@@marionemberson I heated it a little underneath went went on top. The image I was trying to emboss with the glitter was a coloured image using distress oxide. I gave it a good few going over with my brayer. I don't think embossing is for me and I have so many brand new wow powders 😢😢 xx
@@karenmclaughlan9128 no, don’t give up, it’s just a piece of paper, try on some of your scraps. Distress oxide should stay wet long enough to get the powder on, but not if it’s dry in the first place. Also by heating from underneath its melting from underneath so if you don’t do it all and then go on top, that’s all loose and will just blow away. Try heating all the way through from underneath xx Also just re read your comment you mention an image is that a stamp, if so go directly on to the stamp with the distress ink rather than a brayer, assuming I read that right 🤔🤔
@@marionemberson No it was a stencil I had done using the distress oxides. It was totally dry the paper as I had done it last week. So I just went over it with the brayer like crazy lol and it just didn't work. Am I better using transparent or regular powders xx
@@karenmclaughlan9128 translucent will only make a difference if you put it on a dark colour as that picks up the colour underneath it. Regular just means the grade size of the powder. Can you send me a picture of what you’re doing and I might have a better idea. marionemberson@gmail.com Xx
Beautiful card- love the simplicity- fabulous butterfly die. I love your tutorials, I always have fun, learn and am definitely inspired. Always a fun and enjoyable experience. Thank you.
Absolutely lovely! When the noise started, I thought Ricky was doing some yard work! 😉😍 Also, I think those colors would be amazing for the twins' birthday!!!
