I've been following Thrive since its inception back in 2010. It's good to see it finally receive some recognition on YT.

It is actually pretty easy to have nucleus early. 1) cap out amonia and phosphate, and get a bunch of glucose. Divide near phosphate and amonia clouds, add nucleus, next evo right away add more ATP production.

Fun fact: Plant cells have nuclei and also mitochondria, so that when night comes they can still get energy.

"Instead of Thrive there should be a game just called Die, where you make the least capable organism." Isn't that basically just Dumb Ways to Die?

I played this game 2 times (i sat down to play it not runs) the second time i beat the game but not because i thrived but because i outsmarted that ai if you get a spike you can kill other cells and thats how i beat it by letting them come to me and I didn’t waste atp getting to places
