I threw my journal entires down a shredder... it took about a full week to destroy them all. Stories from age 10 all the way through adulthood. I continue to ask God why He didn't give me another storyline, a storyline that I didn't want to shred.

Sarah, sounds like you have experienced some deeply trying times. It makes our hearts heavy to read your post. I am so sorry. I pray God will do as His Word says: "The LORD is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Ps. 34:18) I trust you can find a strong evangelical church to walk this road with you and help you find peace in trusting His story. One of the ladies mentioned Randy Alcorn's book, "If God is Good." Perhaps the beginning pages about God's story in one's life would be of great help to you. Just want you to know I care, Sarah.

I didn't write my comment for your sympathy. I wrote it for another perspective. Not all of us have stories worth sharing. God simply uses us as a warningbof "what not to do."

It is always so calming to listen to your videos. Thank you for this teaching series. I just bought your book on audible, and am looking forward to listening to it!
