Joe Dallas is an author and speaker whose story goes from being a promiscuous heterosexual teen, to a gay man, to a saved gay-affirming Christian, to happily married to a woman for 36 years with two kids. He tells his story and answers questions about to react as a Christian parent if your child comes out. Joe has written several books, such as: When Homosexuality Hits Home: What to Do When a Loved One Says, "I'm Gay"
The Gay Gospel?: How Pro-Gay Advocates Misread the Bible
And Christians in a Cancel Culture: Speaking with Truth and Grace in a Hostile World.

In a world where Christianity no longer makes sense this channel exists to show that it still does. As a pastor/apologist and one who was a near apostate after suffering through his own season of gut-wrenching doubt, Bobby now seeks to make sense of Christianity, by helping thoughtful believers resolve doubts when presented to them about (1) God, (2) the Bible, (3) Morality, (4) the Church, and (5) Culture.
Our Creed
We believe God is Triune,
That Scripture is our final authority
That Jesus is God incarnate
That humans are sinful and in need of redemption
That humans can only be reconciled to God by grace through faith
That Jesus is our redeemer who atoned for our sins on the cross
That Christ rose from the grave and is coming again in bodily form!

I heard the tail-end of this conversation on KWVE on Sat. (Aug 12) and was so glad to find this episode on You Tube. I am ordering Joe's book "The Gay Gospel." God seems to be bringing gay people into my path in the last few months, and so I am trying to read whatever material I can find from a Christian perspective (especially testimonials). Thank you for having Joe on the air!

so much of what Joe shared I relate to.... yes, yes, yes. That. I'm not married, but in terms of the backwards and forwards, the compromise vs conviction, the misery, the yielding, the Biblical grounding. :-) praise Jesus for being worth saying NO to sinful desires to!

I listened to Joe's interview and support his path. I only came here to say that I have been a member of several LGBT affirming churches and they aren't all "dead" churches who never have anyone converting. I witnessed several heterosexual people (who came to church because of an LGBT sibling, coworker, or friend) get saved and even get married in the churches I attended. Also if you want to be critical of "LGBT" not being a demonination by stating these churches are just a hodgepodge of different queer people from various denominations who cannot bring in new souls, then maybe speak on the fallacies of denominations in the first place. For example, how they are used to divide people to divvy up tithes and offerings in a more efficient way by making people believe that speaking in tongues is the way, or attending church on Saturday is the way, or shunning secular music is the way, or not eating pork is the way, or do not call unclean what I have made clean so eat your pork roast is the way and if you're Catholic then none of those ways are the way. It's pretty exhausting to listen to someone who still carnally craves men mock people who are choosing faith rather than jumping off a bridge and when I say mock I am speaking to the smug tone when you called them dead churches like some Christian anthropologist reporting back from the field on the exotic queers. If you are carrying shame over your experience, take that to the Lord, don't vomit it on others who are in struggle. Those people in those dead churches are the souls I am fighting for, the ones who believe that if they are destined for hell because their carnal desires exist acted upon or not, then they are going to kill their bodies through suicide or drugs or their spirits through bitter marriages they don't want to be in filled with emotional or physical abuse. You can say that the bridge is acting on their sexuality and I can say to you that none of you have a heaven or hell to put anyone in. I could be just as critical of your ministries for various reasons, but standing on you to boost my ego by insisting that my faith is more in line with God is not why I am on the Earth. Be Blessed.
