Excellent comparison Jeff! I didn't realize all the software have different outputs like that.

Why don't we see the final product? Is there a part two?

Hi Jeff. Thanks for the video! A few points I think you need to your video. First of all, Wilcom ES does not work on a 0.1mm resolution because some newer machines have a higher resolution that that. 0.1mm resolution is an old artefacts of the original stitch file formats and machines which could only operate at a 0.1mm movement. Some software brands only work in this resolution, but it will be limiting moving forward. On that note, when you imported the DST into Wilcom you should set your grid to 0.1mm x 0.1mm and you will notice that the stitches 'moved' because a DST is always 0.1mm. It's not a Wilcom thing, but a stitch file format that all software would have. It's not our intention to change our software to force a user at a 0.1mm resolution, because if we did our customers would revolt :) For example, Pfaff or some schiffli has a 1/6mm resolution so forcing a user to 0.1 is limiting. As an embroidery expert do you think that 0.01mm difference would make a real difference on the end result? The feedback we get from customers is no, as the thread would move more simply by the fabric fibres beneath it but interested to hear you think this makes a difference.

Thanks for doing this video. It's interesting to see different softwares do different things. I view software as another tool to do a specific job. I'm not a big fan of E4 , it's price or the chaotic menu bar.
