Hi, I just started making patches and came across your vid. For the fray check, you have to wait 15-30 mins for it to dry depending on how much you put, 30 just to be sure. If you cut it before it’s fully dry, then you’ll have some fraying still. Hope that helps!

This is a really good video. I just got a SE1900 and I’m leaning to use it and you video is extremely helpful. I think I was making a lot more out of it than I needed to. Yes you need to adjust your tension for sure. I’m new to it too. But the back should be color as well. Not a lot but more.

I got the same machine in September and my needle threader has never worked! lol I still push down on the lever, and then I just push it lightly and it’ll thread the needle like that…but it’s never ever worked. Wild! Thanks for the video!!

I have that machine too and the pressure foot has to be down in order for the auto threader to work properly… at least mine does ☺️ Thank you for sharing and for your service!

Loved this. Colors on the back are due to changing the tension after the first color. Just got my se600. Thanks for teaching.

I had an issue with my auto needle threader in my embroidery machine and after much frustration I thought perhaps my needle was not sitting where it should be so I removed the needle and reset it and the auto needle threader worked perfectly, this might be helpful fir you, great video by the way😃

Great tutorial Thank You If you decide to upgrade go for Luminaire 3 it is a dream. The Dream Machine 2 is also an great machine. Brother Machines

To make the auto threaded to work 100% of the time, you have to drop the foot before using the auto threader. If you can get the auto to work without dropping the foot, you may have slightly damaged the auto threader.

Very new to patch making…like say 3. Cutting it out is my hard part. I feel like I’m going to cut the stitches. I’ll try out this fray spray

You can always use a soldering iron instead of a lighter and much safer, then put the fray check on after you use the soldering iron.

Nice workaround, however this sort of hooping gymnastics would have given me fits which is why I quickly pivoted from a Brother PE800 to a 10 needle machine.
