Dulce don’t ice it!! It’s gona make the oil clump up in your muscle. Oil and ice doesn’t go together lol ask your dr for lidocaine cream. It works for numbing I don’t ever feel a THING. Your husband also needs to make sure the ENTIRE needle is in. Pinching can sometimes help as well.

These type of videos always bring me to tears! I have a 4 year old son and his birth was awful. Post-op infection, hospital stay for 3 months near death etc. just awful, but I wouldn’t change it for the world! I’m unable to have anymore children since his birth, and watching these vlogs make me tear up as I just so badly wish and pray that I had this option to have IVF and become pregnant so my son won’t be alone. As a woman who no longer can have children I understand the feeling of emotion you were having realizing that you finally have that little embryo placed exactly where it needs to be. My pregnancy with my son wasn’t an easy one... I had miscarriages before him and had premature labor with him as well, than once he was finally born I just couldn’t believe he was here! To finally see your amazing creation a human body can make is something of a miracle. I wish you and your family nothing but the best! Cherish every moment of pregnancy, it’s beautiful even when you feel like you just want it to be over... remember these moments, remember how worth it it is to feel every ache, pain and nausea because in the end that beautiful baby will be born and all of those memories fade away and you will realize how wonderful pregnancy is. Once a person can no longer get pregnant, you miss every bit of becoming a parent. God bless you’re beautiful growing family ❤️

They are painful and made my muscle and leg hurt so much. I also got so tired after them. But is so worth it! Dulce, you can ask for a smaller needle for the progesterone shots since your tiny. I had to go through this and used a 22G x 1inch. The shots were tolerable with the smaller needle. :)

What an emotional moment!🤩 Embryo transfers are always exciting and stressful at the same time. No matter how much you’ve waited for this moment, you are never fully prepared for it. While waiting for the pregnancy test 2 weeks post-transfer, you may experience some symptoms, like short cramping, bloating and mild bleeding/spotting. For those going through the same path, here are the additional symptoms you can expect after your transfer: - Vaginal discharge - Missed period - Breast tenderness - Increased desire to urinate - Nausea - Fatigue - Morning sickness And here are some tips to help you have a successful transfer: - Have bed rest. Get plenty of sleep and listen to your body. You may resume your routine activities - but make sure you avoid any strenuous activities during this time. - Avoid high-impact physical activities, such as aerobics, running or jogging. Instead, do some light-to-moderate activities, like walking, driving or cooking. - Eat as if you’re already pregnant. Avoid processed foods, limit your sugar and caffeine intake, eat good carbohydrates, don’t neglect lean proteins, and take a daily multivitamin with folic acid. - Avoid sexual intercourse until you get your pregnancy test results as it may interfere with embryo implantation. - Avoid tub baths, swimming pool and beaches to protect yourself from potential infections. Instead, have quick, warm showers. - Drink plenty of fluids to keep you (especially your endometrial cells) hydrated. - Explore relaxation techniques, such as yoga, meditation or Tai Chi. - Take progesterone which helps prepare your uterine lining for pregnancy by creating an optimal environment for embryos. - Avoid taking a pregnancy test at home as you may get a false positive or a false negative result. Wait until the official date for HCG testing, which is usually 2 weeks post-transfer.

I didn't do IVF but I was taking those shots weekly with my last pregnancy because I was so high risk and i had 3 miscarriages before that, thankfully I had an amazing high risk doctor and I had my rainbow baby in 2017 he will be 2 yrs old in 2 weeks 🙂 btw congrats doll you are a strong woman

After 9 years of infertility my cousin and his wife decided to go through with IVF after nothing was working for them. Last Tuesday she gave birthday to twins! A boy and a girl! Science is absolutely amazing!!! I pray you get your baby...Good vibes to you and your family!

This video popped up on my recommendations so I watched it since I’ve been trying to conceive for two years and a half. I cried when they did the transfer and couldn’t stop crying after that, got more emotional when you told your son you had a baby in there.

I am a nurse I give shots all day every day but THIS gave me chills for some reason. If there is another shot, next time just go for it. it will reduce the anxiety.

You’re so strong ! Especially to be so open and public about it! My mom had 5 miscarriages before she had me. I was fertility treatment she was so ready to give up but she wanted nothing more than to be a mom. People can be so cruel and would discredit her as a women because of her fertility issues but she was very fortunate to have my dad by her side just how you have your husband! Finally after progesterone shots and 5 months being on bed rest I stuck around and 21 years later here I am! Healthy, married, and in college. Just an FYI your child will be very hairy just like me 😂 progesterone does that! I always blame my mom for me having to get waxed and all the razors I go thru lol. OMG he was making me so nervous with that needle Jesus Christ my anxiety was through the roof. Whew!

Tips on drawing the injection out of the bottle! Go ahead and make sure that the needle is secure, so ensure it’s screwed on so there is no air coming in. Then then the vial upside down and put the needle in and don’t put it past the point of the liquid. Go ahead and pull that progesterone out and you’re good to go!! Air is the enemy! Good luck!

I had those shots all throughout my pregnancy every week and let me tell you they hurt 😞 the oil is so thick they have to inject it so slow or else it will create a lump. I’m so high risk that I’m not even able to carry a baby and those shots let me go 38 weeks and have a beautiful healthy baby boy. They do work wonders ! Congrats I hope you get good news 🙏

I know the bedtime routine is hard, but try to enjoy it because it will be over very soon. My children are now in their 20s and I don’t see them much because they don’t to live at home anymore. When my daughter visits, every once in a while she will sleep in my bed. But other than that I long to give her a hug and a kiss good night.

Watching this is killing me because I can't count how many progesterone shots I've given this year and I wish I was there to help. So just for some tips. 1. Don't put weight on the side that you are going to give the injection to. Rest your weight on the other side of the body. 2. Jessie should be grabbing the area around the injection site with his index and thumb, kinda like a pinch. It helps with the pain so you don't feel the needle going in as much. 3. Clean the progesterone bottle with an alcohol swab before you put the syringe in to draw it up. You guys are doing amazing and I hope everything goes smooth.
