Lots of smiles in this, especially towards the end. Maybe I’m reading into it too much, but I hope this means you guys had a successful transfer! 🙂 Great, informative video!
Noticed that too. She’s much happier. She’s been really raw and it’s good to see how much progress they’ve made processing all the feelings to this point.
My last transfer took over 40 minutes the first doctor couldn’t get the cannula past a certain point. After 30+ minutes of that they had me empty my bladder a little bit and then another doctor came in and did it in 3 minutes. Could the embryos have been damaged in that time? My beta came out negative.
I watched this video back in November 2023. First thing I did after the transfer was EATING FRENCH FRIES! Right now I’m sitting on my bed with my beautiful baby girl in my arms!!! 🍟👼🏻💖💖💖💖💖💖
Yesterday i had a transfer. I requested single embryo transfer but doc said one embryo looked compromised so she didnt want to take any risk and pur two embryos. So now whats the probability of getting twins?
With regard to fresh transfer on day 5, the embryo got retained in the transfer catheter during 1st attempt as seen upon checking under the microscope by the embryologist, so it was then immediately re-transferred. Does this affect success rate? What implications this might have?
My Grandson is already here. I didn't need this but I know others will. I just want to Thank you both for all the information you both have gave me. Thank you Doctors Bjorkman
Dear Doctors Bjorkman, do you have any insights on the acupuncture? Would acupuncture help with the implementation or not for the IVF patients? Thank you very much.
Hello from Malaysia doctors, I’m currently on 16 days post FET and some spotting for past 3 days. Today there’s a slight red blood. But my beta hcg is only due in another 3 days. Could it be another fail ICSI?
Do you feel discomfort afterwards or days later? The day of transfer I felt a coldness in my uterus the rest of the evening. Also the opening of my cervix felt like it had been scraped up. Very uncomfortable to sit upright. The day after I didn’t feel the coldness anymore, but I still felt the uncomfortable feeling of my cervix being scraped up and feeling pressure any time I sat upright. That evening I started feeling a pinching pain in my right side. Now 2dpt, I’m still feeling uncomfortable down there and I still can’t sit upright without feeling discomfort. Is this normal?
Maybe this is a stupid question but after hearing how this works I’m not understanding how sometimes this is unsuccessful and women go through multiple rounds of IVF?
Sending you all the baby dust! Really hoping this transfer works for you guys. My husband and i are currently on our first month TTC after an early miscarriage and the 2 week wait is sooo tough
I ate fries after too 😂. I'm now 9 days post transfer and patiently waiting for test day - I got a few more days to go. Sending lots of baby dust and positive vibes your way ❤️
It is very strange that a peditrician is talking about embryo transfer >?? I guess any one who can articulate a couple of sentences can talk about any topic >>>
How is it weird that someone who is half of a couple going through IVF treatment is contributing to a discussion on his personal experience with an embryo transfer? Not to mention, Dr. Sarah Bjorkman, the OBGYN and fertility specialist, is the person doing most of the talking in the video anyway. Her husband, the pediatrician, is simply adding his insights when he can. While he may not be a fertility specialist, he was with her the entire time as she was going through IVF, and he has the medical and scientific training to know how to interpret the research and data about the procedures they go through, regardless of his specialization.
