Dr. Anton, thanks for making this very useful video. I had 2 questions: 1) how does this differ for industrial instruments such as an industrial controller? 2) What is a cheap way you recommend for startups to get past the safety test hurdles?
Hey, sorry for a slow response - I was on holiday :) 1) You'll have a slightly different set of standards under the Machinery Directive and typically radiated and conducted testing would fall under EN61000-6-2 and EN61000-6-4. Practically, the limits are lower by about 10dB, so it's easier to pass for both 2) Pre-compliance testing and self-cerification would be my suggestion. Also, learning from other people's mistakes and following good engineering practices for EMC during the design stage
i used the first one before, it has some limitations.. and the second one doesnt make any sense for omega = 0 and omega = infinite. furthermore, why would one apply a signal to the output of an opamp and use a high impedance input as an output if the in an out were switched, it could be used as a lowpassfilter with a defined minimum frequency
1) Yes it does! :) Certainly not suitable for high-speed switching circuits 2) It's the op amp integrator circuit, otherwise known as a DC servo. It allows to elliminate DC component from an audio signal, then you don't have to put any disgusting electrolytic capacitors in series with it you see.
