Ich kann allen hier nur zustimmen. Ich sang die Deutsche Messe von Franz Schubert zu einer Beerdigung im Männerchor von der Empore unserer Kirche aus. Es ist ist wirklich erbebend. Die Tränen laufen auch dem Sänger über die Wangen. Schubert war grandios.

Actually, my parish sings this all during Lent. It is easy to sing and learn. But singing it at Mass makes me cry a little, as it is so beautiful.

I was in high school in 1974 or 75 when our choir director had us sing this for a concert. Over the years I've been able to have parts of it performed in 2 churches I've been a member of the Sanctus being used most often. I was thrilled to see this full concert here on RU-vid. My only complaint is that the timpani was overpowering during the Sanctus.
