What a voice. Just sitting in some corporate's break out room, with a guy doing some rhythmic strumming on a guitar, and she flawlessly belts out these amazing vocals on this powerful song. This is one of the best versions of it!
Why does this song capture me so? Yes, it's a great performance by Ms Sande. I like this acoustic version with the sparse guitar even more than the official track. I think it's because it combines cryptic lyrics (you can read several meanings into them) with something in the chord sequence and the 'chorus' that just stops you in your tracks. Well, it does me. We're lucky at the moment with female singers. From Dory to Joni, I've always loved them. (Check the Alpines remix of this.)
whatever this woman sings is sensational, she is such a deep person, very very special person, she creates the most amazing songs, songs for the ears, not for eyes only, and she is too intellectual to show her bits, in order to cover the lack of the talent, I would loooooooooove to meet her in the real life
