I know quite a lot about John Lennon and he would be flattered to know someone as talented as Emeli Sande covered his song. Anyone who leaves negative comments need to get over themselves. I love and miss John Lennon and when someone covers his song they are keeping his memory alive. Thank you Emeli and RIP John Lennon, miss you man xxx

THIS, for me, is how this song SHOULD be sung - straight laced without frills, just letting the music, the lyrics and the beautiful haunting purity of voice do ALL of the talking - Fantastic stuff - thoroughly enjoyed it :-)
I have never heard anyone cover a classic and like it..she is the first..wow..beautiful!!! She kept the spirit of the song while putting her own style to it.
I've heard very few covers of this song I actually didn't like, majority of them are pretty good, this is good but definitely not one of the best ones by any means.
Her Music is Perfect , Her voice is Perfect . The message is perfect . Its all Perfection . She is truly talented and her voice and lyrics speak to me , im happy i found her
John Lennon's Imagine Always makes me cry esp because the person he was spreading the idea of Peace to the wold. Emeli Sande is worthy of doing this cover. It is beautifully done :)

I saw Emeli this week in Dallas, I knew that I always liked her music but never really knew why. Then when I heard her lyrics, live - exploding through the speakers - seeing her sing from her heart - I knew that her songs have been the motivating force behind my drive to break generational chains. I just discovered this cover, which happens to be the ending theme song to the "Killing Fields" ... wow, you are a favorite to this Khmer woman, Emeli!

Yeah, john knew all about padantic delivery, didnt he. Man, I do believe Mr. Lennon would have been honored to have this woman sing his song, carry his tune to another generation, a lot of whom probably thinking SHE wrote it. No matter... She delivered it strong enough to make this old guy imaging.
