Emerald was born a green fox due to difficulties her mother had when conceiving her which led to a Chaos Emerald being used to save both of their lives. Her green appearance made her siblings hate her because she was the reason why their father left them as he accused their mother for cheating on him. Amber and Sapphire despise her very much and think of her as a mistake and a freak. Everyone in her village thinks she's strange but only her mother loves her for her. Nothing can beat a mother's love, but things take a dark turn when she passes away, leaving Emerald with her siblings.
