In Ireland we have the rapid response motorcycles but they are very under utilised, the reason being they are a paramedic level (P) only, not advanced paramedic (AP) (Irish qualifications) because if they were AP they may have to travel in the rear of the ambulance with high mechanism pta or very ill pts, and the the other paramedic would be left to bring the bike in toe, as its not possible to teach every new paramedic how to ride a motorcycle on lights it's simpler to keep them all at the lower paramedic grade, and reserve APs for rapid response cars. Shame because the bikes are nearly always quicker. Ireland uses a mix of BMW and believe it or not, Harley Davidsons as seen here emergencytimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/HSE-NAS-Ambo-Bike.jpg
