It's short for utility vehicle, usually a cab in front with a walled cargo tray in the back. Designed originally for farmers and tradies (we use them in NZ for that as well). Unfortunately people now drive them that just use them for around town with no tradie or farmer use so they're getting a bit of a bad name.

green whistle aka happy gas

It's a type of inhaled gas called penthrox (otherwise known as the green whistle) which is a non opioid based anaesthesia agent. In low doses it is a very affective pain releif. as a patient that has had multiple ICU stays and critical emergency transports via ambulance (and due to this unfortunately I've had a whole load of different trauma/pain medications in a hospital/pre hospital setting) the closest thing I can equivalate it too would be a combo of ketamine and laughing gas.

@@maddisonzahner1112 no it is not 'happy gas'. Happy gas (laughing gas) is nitrous oxide. Green whilst is prentrox. Completely different chemical compound
