I’m a retired RN after 37 yrs. I had to retire early due to disability and I miss it so much. It has been really hard. OB n NICU were my specialty. OB can have emergency’s but not usually trauma!

Yes i had to retire agter nursing since i was 16yrs and i miss it so much and only wish i could go back .i like to watch all the hospital things on Tv or internet i was a theater nurse bgore i retred so now i can only watch im now 68 yrs old with a disability now so i need help myself and i need 2 more operations so hopefully everything goes well Thankyou very much Nella ☺

@@innocentmagongoa1488 No ma’am I have no skills in anything else but keeping my grandchild He just turned two yesterday! My feet hurt all the time. It’s hard to walk. I can have a nerve block in both feet but it only lasts for 24. Hrs.

I understand Gerry's fear. I went into the hospital for an angiogram and the next thing I knew I was in the cardiac ward awaiting emergency open-heart bypass surgery. I was so shocked that I felt nothing. Well done Gerry. I wish you the best.

The same thing happened to my husband. 6weeks before our wedding. I told the surgeon there was only one outcome, and that was walking me down the aisle!

I'm a retired helicopter flight RN. 🇺🇸 The pilot's landing of the helicopter looked exceptionally smooth 2:47. Lovely bird. 🇦🇺 I'm very surprised though that the professional helo crew didn't present the patient to ED with headblocks in place. To all, I wish Godspeed. ❤ 😊

I just have to say thank you for what you do. I would love to have fulfilled paramedic/ firefighter but i struggled watchiny helpless people in serious conditions which made a huge impact on my mental health. I now do medical billing and coding but very appreciate the hard work you fulfill.

@jessicahummel1691 Thank you ever so much for your kind words. Please keep in mind that every healthcare job is very important. We nurses are slobs, so housekeeping is essential. Without the dishwasher, there'd be no way to feed the patients. Without you, we nurses and everyone else wouldn't get paid! My job was no more important than anyone elses. Thank you for what you do. Never to late.... I've been in EMS since 2009 as an EMT-I/ firefighter. I've seen a lot plus life stress that took me out of the field but the itch wouldn't leave. I just became a Paramedic in August of 2023 at age 38... you GOT THIS!!!​@jessicahummel1691

I’m so shocked that poor ER doctor had to follow up on the cardio-thoracic team with someone who has such an obvious AA! That should have been all hands on deck immediately surely???

I know some about medical things, and when they say that someone’s not breathing, then they go into what’s called respiratory arrest. It’s basically when the lungs aren’t inflating, sort of like cardiac arrest, but with the lungs

My dad died from a ruptured aortic aneurysm. He never knew he had it. It was very traumatic as I did cpr for half an hour waiting for an ambulance :(

I had my aorta replaced 2 years ago. I have a cow valve now. Surgery isn’t bad but recovery for me was difficult.

My late husband had to have his aorta replaced due to calcification. It was almost shut.

I underwent the same treatment, the difference was, I had a broken knee, tibia and foot I underwent 5 hours of surgery. It was terrible and today, after two months I am in recovery. Southern Italian healthcare

I broken my femur last year having been crushed by another car. I had a broken eye socket and broken ribs and pneumothorax. For people who not medical that a collapsed lung

I’m assuming they do have them sign a release agreement or an agreement with the hospital to protect patient privacy when filming. Possibly a family member can sign if the patient is unable if they are in the pts chart to do so on their behalf.. I couldn’t find much on google about it.

Really no it was not being that two life's or three if it twins . I had gallbladder issues with my last pregnancy. I had so many tests till we found it was gallstones I had it out two years later so fact is they can be risky in pregnancy

Better safe than sorry, I have a friend (a nurse) who was just diagnosed with Covid last week. Doctors and nurses wear masks to protect from potential disease spread for their patients, and their own lives. Just in case you weren’t aware.

I think the actual Drs know what the patient needed to make sure mom and baby are safe. They have to be through and not miss anything with 2 lives at stake. I think if laying on her side was working for her should wouldn’t have come to ER.
