I remember fighting a fire in Georgetown on a 45 degree day, and we were over the hill from Bundaleer and I was relaying back to our truck and remember hearing "We've lost it" and then the biggest smoke cloud This was back in 2006

I know all about fires Henry our farm we had in the Adelaide Hills was involved in Ash Wednesday. I flew down from QUEENSLAND and the sight of the damage on the way from the airport to the farm was incredible. Luckily we managed to stop the fire in our farm before it hit the town, I scared Dad prettybad when i pointed out he had been driving the LANDCRUISER with 600lt water all over the farm on very steep slopes in 2 wheel drive not 4. 5 klms of fence gone in very steep terrain to be replaced. Hope you have a good harvest and no more fires.

Never a dull moment on the farm. Fire breaks would always be a good investment where farms meet forests expecially in the season we have seen so far. It looked like a good turnout. Cheers

Well the university educated public servant fire persons would be in the easiest end of fire. Jackson Brothers wheat harvest is 4 tonnes per hectare. Plenty fires in Queensland. Great video

mate you should definitely invest in a full face mask, we use the Drager X-plore 5500 in the RFS and it’s a fucken godsend
