Such a great harvest! Even the in-ground produced enough that it's a good strategy to just plant the excess plants, like you did. Regarding habaneros - I make a Caribbean chicken stew that has apples, potatoes, onions, garlic, carrots and the chicken with a couple of whole habaneros. I take the peppers out halfway through the cooking time and the broth has the flavor and fruity spice of the pepper, but it is not an overpowering heat. The secret is to keep them whole and don't let them disintegrate in the broth. (I put them in a cheese cloth because its difficult to tell them apart from a carrot piece.)

So the sun gold and the sweetheart cherry are your favorite small tomatoes. Don t think I've ever seen so many blooms as on the sweet heart cherry. Hope all is well after Beryl.

The shishitos are for frying or roasting. So the thin wall comes in handy for that. I just fry mine in a pan without cutting them or taking the seeds out. Just eat them whole

The blossoms on the sweetheart are insane!! I’ve never seen anything like that!! I can’t find the yum yum pepper seeds on Amazon. I was looking for your too 3. I definitely want to try a few varieties you planted this year! This was a great harvest! The peppers look amazing still! It’s so hot here everything is suffering. Hopefully it cools off slightly.

Thank you! The blossoms are insane! I hope you enjoy the varieties as much as I do. I seen the yumyums on gurneys website. I ordered from them years ago and they seemed to be a good company. Actually Robert's grandpa use to order his garden seeds from there. I hope if cools off and y'all get some relief. I seen something that said fall was 12 weeks away. I was saying that and the editor said that it is still hot in the fall...lol

Well I know I just typed two replies, where's the other reply. Okay.. I'll just resay it. I was looking on burpee and my past orders and I'm actually growing the sweet yummy pepper, but my plant tags say yum yum So I'm confused. I'll check my seed package tomorrow. I'm laying in bed right now LOL.

Yum! I did that before with mostly the hot Hungarian wax peppers and a few others. Robert isn't the biggest fan of spicy things anymore and since we don't eat it as much I am turning into a wimp...lol

It has taken me many years to get to this point. I started out small and learned a lot along the way. You will get there just don't give up! I almost gave up on potatoes but I kept trying and this year we had our best harvest ever!
