You don’t need an EtCO2 detector on an anesthetic breathing circuit. That small diameter line coming off the circuit, called a sampling line, connects to a capnogram and will provide EtCO2 measuring.
@@gordanazakula5669 Yes you sure can ! This is called an DNI or Do Not Intubate order. You can make this a part of your living will AND Medical Record. A DNI however, does NOT cover CPR/compressions, that would be a DNR or Do Not Resuscitation. You can be both of you wish;, DNI/DNR. Hope this help clarify! (RN of 22 years). Every hospital can help you with a living will completion or you can find them online and have it notarized.
