ตัวอย่างจาก Reddit ---> KatsuKamijo 9 days ago Okay, Biased Burmese here. My view on Thailand are summed up like this. They were the only "non-colonized" country in SEA because they bent over backwards and gave the English and French whatever they wanted. Therefore, they have no dignity nor honor. This mentality also holds true to this day. They'll bend over for whoever's strong in order to survive. They may be more developed than our beloved golden land but that's such a parasitic way to live. I wouldn't want that. They routinely and casually steal Burmese culture. Their "songkran" is directly stolen from Burmese "Thingyan" which, if you did a little bit of research and find out, started in Myanmar as early as 10 CE. They also stole Burmese way of wearing Longyi in sexy ways (which, to be fair, we got from India). So they're cultural thieves profiteering off of Burmese festivals and clothing styles. So, all in all, I'm pretty vexed whenever I speak in an international community (online forums, games, etc) and people don't know my country but they know Thailand. It feels like our country is this brave but unknown warrior and Thailand is like a slutty whore whom everyone knows.
The United States government spends too much money on wars and regime change to try to topple governments around the world that we don't like instead of helping ordinary American citizens at home and improving our basic infrastructures around the country.
