Freddie Highmore is such an amazing actor, the way he can play a poor innocent little boy to an innocent musically inclined orphan boy to a serial killer with border line personality disorder to a savant doctor. I think he is a phenomenal actor.!
I have watched both versions, but I like this version better. In the Korean version how they treat him is beyond horrible and even punched him. In this version, they are a little bit nicer.
bubblez Right, but Claire has an advantage because she gets to see him more. At work at the hospital. She's only his neighbor. The only way those two could really take is if she continuously bothers him.
Shaun really has improved his communicating skills since beginnings as the resident. In the beginning he had problems with not answering to direct questions. In the second season he seemed to have overcome that.
The salt lowers the freezing point, so it's below zero but still liquid; a liquid bath is far more efficient at cooling than immersing in ice. There was an episode of The Good Doctor where this came up; they were transporting a heart for transplant, had to to emergency surgery on the organ at the side of the road, then used convenience store slushy to get the temperature down long enough to finish the trip
This is so confusing to me. The temp can’t reach to lower than 39 and more than 47, if I remember the number from this ep, yet they perform a surgery under the sun.
ashley walker That's his savant ability. He can diagnose and assess medical conditions easily. Very "by the book" & technical. He was being forced to be a diagnostician than a surgeon in the korean version.
Nawake Sometimes shows will release snippets if the new episode as the day for the new episode to air draws nearer. The episode has already been filmed and everything, you know.
Reverse for me. This show proves that surgery is the least thing I would want to do with my life. They're mostly in anxious time-restricted situations. Mad respect for surgeons who can handle this kind of environment
