If this goes to court, I think NASCAR will loose. They do not want to open up to discovery. Like all sports, money destroys the real reason it became popular.
You guys really need to read up on UFC lawsuits happening right now. Steve Nash from formally bloody elbow has great write ups about it. Situation is very similar.
Nascar's screwed. UFC had to open the books. They were making bank. Fighters are independent contractors too. UFC also bought up way lesser fighting organizations. Doesn't matter how big or small they are. NASCAR is totally a monopoly. They'll settle. It goes to a trial & they could lose a lotore than just money. They'll lose the way they have done things for decades. This is huge.

I am not sure they understand the other sports have unions for the players NASCAR does not so when MJ gets the union started hot dogs being 47.00 and coke 36.00 you better thank your union member cause that why food is so high at basketball/baseball games lol heck service fee on tickets will be more than what you pay now for Ticketmaster fees. I find it funny too that Joe Gibbs and TOYOTA have not back 23X1 cause if seems funny the cars are not as fast and staying out front since this stress uncalled for from GREEDY (MJ&DH) owners trying to stir up $$ for them.
I'm just a race car fan. I can no longer afford tickets to a race. So I watch it on TV. Sometimes. I don't get all the channels because it's too expensive. This is all interesting. But it's people with money wanting more money to me. The Cars Tour series is much more interesting to me. Flo racing is fun. I just want to watch racing. Affordability is the key.
Then he sure never gotten his ass in if he's worried about a nice prophet because you want to be a team owner in NASCAR you're supposed to worry about just breaking even

Millionaires suing billionaries - I think they all need a reality check with hard working Americans who many have much more dangerous jobs and do not get paid a fraction of what these people are making. And also the racing sucks today in my opinion.
