What a great coach. I’m a huge Auburn fan and still have the balls to show some respect where it’s due. Hope he enjoys retirement he’s got nothing to be ashamed about at all. Michigan was just better. Pretty sure he was gone after this year either way.
As a USC fan, nothing but respect to Coach Saban and what he’s done for the Alabama football team. Absolute power house of a coach and his record shows for it. Well deserved retirement and wish him nothing but the best for years to come!

As a Wolverine, I have nothing for respect and admiration for Nick Saban. He is an icon in college football and an all time great. I cannot think of anyone that can fill his shoes for the Tide.

Well I'm glad he's gone too and was an Alabama fan until he marched with BLM so I'm glad he Gone he was stuck on himself anyhow I don't care how many national championships he won Bear Bryant held the record on that and Bear Bryant wasn't stuck on himself believe me I know I did cut Bear Bryant's yard for two years as a young teenager 13 and 14 years old so I knew him personally and he wasn't stuck on himself
The funny thing about the Bama Nation is that we won't remember that game even if we had won it. But when teams beat Bama, it becomes a watershed moment, a defining moment, an event that fans make t-shirts about. Bama fans move on because our expectations are so high, which is not really a good thing. Bama fans never rush the field or celebrate widely, even after a NC Win. That is the difference between a Bama fan and everybody else. Unfortunately, that may have just ended for a while. Or we may find another coach who can take us back to the SEC Championship. Coach Saban was right in that the NIL will change the NCAA going forward. I suspect he didn't want anything to do with it (among other things). The BAMA Nation will miss Coach Saban. UA will name a street or a building after him. But Bama will move on and become successful again. It was a hell of a run. Roll Tide. And congratulations to the University of Michigan Football Team.

@@blakeroark6017 That argument is weak. Comparing last years teams to this years teams is comparing last years model of a car to this years. Different cars. Different teams. You get one shot each game to be the better team. On Dec 2, 2023, in Atlanta, Georgia failed to be the best when it counted. Since teams don't play everyone, you have to take what has been placed to before you and win that game. Michigan played Alabama this year and not Georgia. Why? Because Georgia lost to Alabama. Speculating the "but if only..." is a fools errand as it is in the past and will never happen. You want to claim to be the best you have to prove it every week. Michigan had to play thru a slew of injuries against Ohio State. They won. After their o-lineman went out, that game could have easily turned in OSU's favor but it didn't. Georgia's injuries are not an excuse. Refs are not an excuse. Play above the bad calls. If Kirby can't get his team to do that, well, then, they will lose to Alabama...and they did.

A business is only as good as its employees just like a movie is only as good as its actors, and Hollywood is only as good as its movies! Saban did a great job but he also had some clear advantages. He only built on the great solid foundation that was already laid! Whomever, comes after you should always be better because they have the blueprint!

According to my mother's friends who know the sabans Mrs Terry was diagnosed with Dementia this past year. Im sure that's the reason he retired. He wants to spend time with her while she is still aware of her surroundings and her semi normal self. Idk when Nick will share with public.
