Hello Hektor, one reason I insisted to go with a manual passenger-side sliding door on my wife's 2015 Sienna handicapped van is to avoid problems like this. Manufacturer companies want the access van owner to upgrade to a power sliding ramp and sliding door, not only to cost more to upgrade but also to cost more to maintain. If everything in our daily life is power, we don't need the arms and hands and legs that God gives us. Better yet, for those who don't want to well use their able body, give them to the handicapped who need them, lol.
My brother's side access in floor ramp will sometimes not open automatically when I press the open/close switch. I cranked it open one time and then it started to work properly again. Today when I went to open it I let go of the toggle switch and the action stopped. I had to hold the switch until it opened fully. Same with closing it. I then opened the door via the switch, then I manually cranked the floor out for about 6 inches then closed it again. I used the open/close switch and it worked as it should (Let go of the switch and let the door do its thing). Any suggestions why this may be happening?
Hi Hector , I have the same problem with sliding door. Door stuck sometimes and ramp does not get down . Howl can I contact with you . I live in Beaumont CA . Thank you
Great video. I have a wheelchairs van 2006 and when it calls for the ramp to come in the door hits the ramp. Is there something I can do are get it recalibrated?
