He killed A spy A pyro A zombie medic 2 police officers A bodyguard The conagher brothers Scout's mom A sniper In total he killed 10 people throughout the film
@@tombeetroot_A.S.P. when spy and soldier went to scout's house to investigate. They found one of medic's weapons with blood on it later on. We see medic waking up in his office with blood on his hands. If that's not enough proof than near the end of the film we see medic's hallucination of himself sitting near the corpse of scout's mother. Also when medic killed pyro and showed up to save soldier he held pyro's head behind the wall exactly like what happened to scout's mom
@@the_mando8464 i think medic may blame himself for scout’s ma’s death, but i don’t think he killed her necessarily. the bonesaw the spy finds in the house most likely belongs to the pyro, as we see him pull one out during his “interrogation” of the spy (and the pyro had been the one to appear in scout’s ma’s house during chapter 2).
sometimes we look at the tf2 mercs as these silly funny characters but we forget that they are extremely fucking dangerous. Especially heavy, my mans held off the soviet army for his family
Scout is fast as fuck boi, soldier is unstable rocket man, heavy is big russian, sniper is average australian, pyro is delusionally insane, spy is the dude on xbox chat who sleeps with your mother, medic is the syringe artillery, demoman used alchohol instead of water as a solvent in his body, and engineer is the omega camper.
And how ironic they called mercs but non of them is actually a soldier of fortune(scout-Boston thug, heavy- escaped political prisoner, soldier-patriotic guy that likes to boom everything eninginer- lazy smart guy from texas, demoman- Scottish that likes to boom everything t and drink alchogol, medic- well some of his words like im uberhuman and e.t.c sounds kinda sus but it's not sure if he somehow related with Austrian painter and his scientist weird experements) but they at the same level or even in a higher level of dangerous and badass that tf1 mercs(which if I'm not wrong is real mercs)
@@alexref6074 Medic has no association with the Nazis, and he might be Jewish if his pronunciation of "Danke schön" is anything to go by. It's been stated that being a mad scientist is just a thing that runs in his family.
The fact Medic hesitates, And then decides not to shoot the man from the ambulence after realising he's a Doctor too is a genius touch I wouldn't expect from an SFM of all things.
I think medic did not shoot him because he still has humanity in him after all. The civilian doctor was an innocent man and he didnt deserve to be shot like that.
i like how medic doesn't kill people unless they're actively a threat to him, as demonstrated by how he kinda spared the guy in the ambulance towards the end
im a little dumb so maybe i misinterpreted something, but isn't it kinda medics fault he even got in that situation in the first place? Like he wasn't lucid when he did it but my man did take scout to a slaugherhouse and stuff him in a coffin, after killing (or pyro did it?) his mother
Very interested to know if this is just a stress response for Medic, or if the Respawn Machine actually messes with his head or ends up bringing an entity from the other side to control him.
A curious detail that caught my attention was the conversation between Dell and Tavish at the “Bar”. Dell revealed that he had spoken with his grandfather on the other side during a respawn, who cryptically remarked, “It's an eternity in there”. This statement reminded me of one of the initial mercenary test subjects, who also muttered the same line before succumbing to madness. It begs the question - what really happens during these respawns in the “other world”? Time, it seems, does not pass in the same linear fashion as it does in the living realm. Is it possible that anybody who respawns exist for years, if not lifetimes, within that realm? Such an idea is both fascinating and terrifying. The toll of experiencing such prolonged respawns is not lost on the mercs, either. Medic, for example, was visibly affected by the actual length of time it took for him to respawn. Once a seemingly compassionate and rational individual, he became something entirely different after his time in the afterlife. The changes in his personality and demeanor were so drastic that it's hard to reconcile the two versions of the character, or even see him as still human. It's a terrifying fucking portrayal of how little we may actually know.
@@fallen_angelmemesforlife9172 I think it'd be better as a primary, since the secondary is a medi gun and the melee is just right for those pills. Like, with thosr pills, you become a melee-wielding German monster.
@@arcadelover2856 yeah but Hitler didn’t just go out and kill people. And Medic killed someone that did him wrong and he killed people that got in his way.
A thing that I like to imagine about doc is... When you have astigmatism, when you don't have your glasses, you don't squint, you open them as much as possible, inducing more stress and fatigue on them. I like to imagine that he just have the condition and is still in normal shape
Can confirm this a bit, I have astigmatism and when I don't have my glasses on I tend to keep my eyes open wide as possible to see, sometimes I look more tired than I should
Holy Shit. I just noticed the plague doctor was standing in the crowd. Man i really wanna know who is the plague doctor. I know its not medic's hallucination since he took the briefcase from spy
It’s probably Medic/Dr Ludwig himself, as some people pointed out in the comments section of the film itself. It might even be the figure we see in one of the final scenes of the film at the burning respawn machine. Also the fact that the rustic revolver he was holding when he bonked Spy in the head in that alleyway may also be another hint, as others have also pointed out as well. *But that’s just a theory*
@@willimeister2553 Another two interesting details are that the plague doctor is... well... a doctor and that his choice of vehicle is a black hearse which is the death-imbued version of an ambulance. I still have some suspicions that it might be the spy because nearly all characters experienced time loops except for the spy, provided that the plague doctor isn't actually spy himself.
I have to say, the reveal of the Medic towards the end freaked me out beyond anything. Specifically, his facial expression. His cold, dead, face. I have looked upon the Medic's model in SFM so many times and I have made so many expressions with his face alone. But THAT face... 2:10 I have NEVER seen the Medic make that face before, no matter how many times I've messed with it. It's haunting, you know? It's a face you think, as an animator, you know so well. But then you see something like this and it chills you to the core. That face... that god damn face... ... I'm honestly still just waiting for the next time I spawn in a medic model in SFM for him to stare right back at me with that very face.
I think it's because he had to undergo facial reconstructive surgery after being shot in the head. The agent guy tells soldier "Your friend will pull through" while showing medic in a hospital bed, so I assume his entire face had to be put back together, hence why it looks off.
1:37 for those wondering on why medic looks like that, its due to him regenerating back from being a corpse afther the spy roullete scene were he cromed himself it was a flawed regeneration sinse it did not revert him back to his previous state before he was cromed so he is much skinnier due to muscle atropy and the discoloration due to natural tissue degradation&hypoxy
He revives earlier, but that was a shot to the chest, it's easy to imagine Medics healing factor works better depending on where he's hit, and brain matter doesn't repair easily and low cost, ask V and Johnny Silverhand, it's comes at a pricey one
@@dylanbing3795 I believe what was in the briefcase was the original D.N.A of the Mercs. I can bet thats why Stalingrad was in the alley waiting. He was waiting for someone from that Cult to come and get it so they could fight their creators.
Including the rocket jumper (not joking i've seen a hale's own collectors edition rocket jumper. the way they got this was through an attribute randomizer server)
The slow and subtle creeping of insanity is what truly does it, this video under exaggerates how gradual it is, and yet it hits you like a brick wall covered in barbed wire, and the fact that this has been so long coming, it makes it all the more horrifying, and all the more exhilarating
@@excalibastardd I’m pretty sure he meant if he had a gun he would’ve gotten him. He probably didt care if he died and only wanted to mess with medic so he wipped out a drill
@@excalibastardd it's likely a reference to Falling Down. The Main characters have a standoff, and the villain coaxes the cop to shoot him by pretending his water gun is real. after he is shot, he says teh same line "i woulds have gotten you, too" as the cop wipes water off his face.
Medic does rack up quite a body count doesn`t he? Also, until proven otherwise, I believe that Ludwig is like Flippy from HTF, how Flippy is nice most of the time but reminded of war he reverts to Flipqy to fight back. Id say its the same with Ludwig when he feels his life is in danger, seeing how after killing the Conagher brothers he ends up looking quite meek after waking up and walking in on Jeremys fucked up corpse.
This makes him look like a badass in my opinion. The way you did the video, though not the best, it feels badass to me. It’s just what’s happening combined with the music and the transitions. I adore badassery all the way so I love this lol The revolver shot transitioning to killing Spy was cool too
Another comment mentions this, but there is a reason Mannco has these guys. They may be silly ha ha fellas, but they are war criminals, intelligent maniacs, one man armies. These guys are terrifying, Blu team was terrified of Pyro is mett the pyro for this reason, he destroyed a whole Blue camp by himself through fear and fire, spy caused a blu team soldier to kill one of their own, Scout single handedly meleed a heavy to death and stole his sandwich, these guys are scary good at their jobs
always badass to see a medic (who's supposed to save lives) take away lives, and imo love the "revenge" part in the funeral capping Spy while sparing the other paramedic and Soldier (also loved the transitions and the critical hit ;)
@@lincolnkiok2359 No confirmation, and no evidence. (Even though I like that name personally) TF2 community can't even agree if Ludwig is his first name or his last name sometimes haha
Well a toy company made some toys of team fortress and they call the toy of the medic Dr joseph heilburguer but i think the company vale nevera make the mame canon because tthe wiki ir tf2 way in one article the mame ir The medic a is de ludwing
I just remembered maybe the reason Dr,Ludwig a.k.a Medic hasn't die yet and just coming back to life is because He has 8 other soul as stated by him He stole his Team a.k.a Friends souls without them knowing. Sure In the comics was Red medic but They just look dissame so Either their different people, they are just clones, or they often switch teams. (I said switch since Scout stated : (Mr, Hale Were Your Mercs) then Saxton (My mercs ?) So meaning Saxton probably help the Brothers in settling the War by hiring his own Mercenary).
Medic is such a great main character for a movie. Emesis Blu did a great job of portraying his character in TF2 and his own version of his character for the movie. Emesis Blu is really really good.
Bro, after watching Emesis Blue, I’m never gonna see tf2 the same. No matter how often I watch people do the kazotsky kick, conga, or rock, paper, scissors. Incurable fear.
