Emilia Clarke is a fabulous actress who brought Daenerys Targaryen to life. No amount of nudity did that. It was her expressive face, superb delivery of lines, and ability to make us believe she was Daenerys that did it. If Game of Thrones edited out every nude scene of her, I'd still watch her journey again and again.

Also, Carrie Fisher wasn't a fan of slave Leia. She was pressured to do it, didn't have any say in it, and felt pretty left out. Most people don't know this either, apparently.

I'm going to take a different perspective than most will here because most are not sci-fi/fantasy fans. The series was about books that have taboo material to the everyday norm, however, there's an enormous amount of people out there that have some factor of kink. There's nothing shameful or embarrassing about bodies. If you are taking a role from these books, though, with it comes the taboo material if you're playing that role as it should be. Same happened with Blue Lagoon and at the time Brooke Shields and Milla Jovovich were underage. Movies and series approach material that the actor or actress should thoroughly consider prior to auditioning and then portraying that role.

All innocence her matched with Daenerys role. She's a small woman, this doing contrast with big barbarian "Khal Drogo". I think that this contributed for her get the role. Now everything is fine. Same with all your inexperience, she's turn the most successful actor of GoT show ... and the nudes scenes ... well ... was looks like artistic nude ... and not scandalous scenes. I'm a fan and i really like her work, she wouldn't disappoint me if she didn't want to make any thing.

She saw the scripts before she signed up. She knew there would be nude scenes especially since it’s going up on HBO. If she didn’t want it she should have walked away from the start. I dislike how people hop on a train to get to their fame and after arriving to the top they try to smear the people who built the platform to get them there. Oh and besides GMA is just trying to blow all this out of proportion. The media loves doing that when a company becomes popular and successful, to try to bring it down and cause it to lose its success. Before you know it they’d be talking about “backlash towards the producers...”.

Those nude scenes are part of what made GOT great. The scenes of nudity and sex were integral in showing the helplessness of the character. Can't rewrite history and pretend you would have gotten to the same place without them.

I get that, being uncomfortable with your nakedness, because that is what society has taught us. But as for the character that I read in the book she transformed her nakedness into a power. When she took ownership of her body she even brought the khal to his knees. And there were powerful scenes in the book, of both empowering times and low times that flushed out Danny's character even more, where she was truly bare with no hair and not even eyebrows coming out of the fire with her newly hatched dragons to when she was still dealing with her miscarriage her breasts leaking milk while she was starving in the desert; and after when drogo flew her away for the first time she was bleeding internally and sick with diarrhea possibly sick with the plague. The show is known for its grittiness and yet they went through pains to keep most characters visually appealing. I feel that when you take on a specific character that follows source material,as an actor/actress, its your job to bring that alive. Emilia, you were perfectly casted as Danny and I get it your a big star now so you get to make contracts that help make you feel better. Just personally, if it called for the moment to Express the character to his/hers/it's fullest potential I would of done it. And I would know what I signed up for too, do some research. But that goes deeper into what motivates us in our career choices. So I hope your comfortable and happy now Clarke, and thank you for doing what you could in your portrayal of one of the characters I deeply respected in the book, for doing what she had to do not only to survive but to make it to the top.
