Dammit, no Memory Snow OVA? My comments were in vain 😭. It does establish some extra things to explain the magical system and also the continuation you see at 4:28 & the end of this episode.

There is also another OVA which is after the mansion arc(dog) and before the capital arc(white whale and the cultists) and is the prequel to this one (when she is looking at some statues and puck talks about her date with the subaru, it's from that OVA). It's not that important but it answers some questions you had (like Emilia's past) and shows a little more about the characters and their personalities. The name of the OVA is "Memory Snow"

Dang, you skipped the OVA before this which would've lead so well into it. I don't know why everyone seems to skip Memory Snow, It's such a good insight into the characters while developing a lot of them. It also leads DIRECTLY into this one, so reactors always skip it and then get confused by some parts of this... It's ... frustrating. And I know It's the fault of the people who randomly say skip Memory Snow cos' It's not action packed. But the OVA IS STILL CANON.

Fun fact : Ice type doesn't exist in Re zero... Puck and Emilia are both fire magic user... They makes ice by changing the temperature.

Emilia is one of the strongest main characters and in order for the plot to progress in season one it was better if she was absent. She is also mysterious and complex there's a lot to learn about her

it was actually emilia’s power! she says in the beginning of the movie “this is my power?”after accidentally attacking the family. Also she talks abt how she should stay here forever because she doesn’t want something like her accidentally attacking the family to happen again, also cuz almost anyone she encounters is very prejudiced

Second season provides many answers and context to the World of Re:Zero, but don't expect it to explain everything as some of the questions will only be answered at the end of the story... in the light novel we are just a bit over half of the expected run of the story.

Esta ova es bastante aburrida en realidad, explico algo del pasado de emilia pero casi en un 20%, lo demas es innecesario. PLEASE! veanse el ova de Memory Snow, esa es bastante divertida jaja
