@@mira-uf1ie Hoyo doesn't make ships official and can't because they are a Chinese company. China's rules don't allow homosexual relationships in games. Also in game content shows that Sethos and Cyno's relationship is more like cousins or brothers according to one of Tighnari's voice lines

@@Hamsters4Ever8 Hoyo needs to stop with the same-sex ships baiting, especially the BL one. Recently, someone (Russian?) posted on Ao3, cursing and sending death threats to NeuvFuri shippers. And a Chinese Childe fujoshi nearly got Hoyo into trouble by trying to report them to authority for giving bigger stall to a Zhongli x Childe shipper (+ they don't like Childe being the bottom). This needs to be stop. No matter what kind of relationship Cyno and Sethos have, Hoyo will try to push it as ship bait. After all, they want money from the fujoshi.

@@mira-uf1ie I don't think Hoyo is trying to do any ship bait, it's mainly the fandom trying to ship any characters that have interactions. Not saying I don't do the same but Hoyo doesn't really care about ships, they just care about their game and making sure people enjoy playing it. The only thing Sethos and Cyno have is one youtube short and a few voice lines. All of their interactions are platonic. They hardly know each other but in some way they are kind of like family members? Idk Tighnari did say Sethos is somewhat like Cyno's cousin. If anything Kaveh and Alhaitham are getting more attention from Hoyo lol
