SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE CELEB INTERVIEWS! Emmy-Winner Jake Hamilton talks with Emilio Estevez and Rhymefest about their new film, THE PUBLIC -- and Estevez looks back on his days working with John Hughes on THE BREAKFAST CLUB!
I think Emilio has become a big star in the sense that he works behind the scenes and has come a long way with directing projects as well as taking acting roles.
Estevez is a true legend of cinema & has done a lot for films & Cinema in general but he never gets the recognition he deserves!!! Well Estevez is one of my all time favourite actors & he's mean alot to me as i grew up watching him from young, my favourite movie he ever made was the underrated but excellent "Judgment Night" from 1993
I lived in Cincinnati in 2010 and 2011, I just wish I was there when this movie was being filmed there. I know right where that movie was filmed at. I am very familiar with that library. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE BREAKFAST CLUB and The Mighty Ducks movies
he looks like he’s only aged 20 or 15 years since Breakfast Club and then aged slowly since 2000 or 2005 😂. he’s the Hispanic Wolverine or something mane. ( btw he’s of predominant northern Spaniard ancestry similar to Frank Sinatra who is of maternal northern Italian ancestry which explains why the complexion is light, even though it doesn’t matter, i had to explain because the Hispanics such as the Spaniards and some Mestizo Hispanics can be white as well due to common ancestry, just saying ❤️🙏 )
That was then, this is now! I watched this for the first time a few days ago - it is a pretty good film. I have never heard of it before. I really liked him in Repo Men. Fun fact: he was in Apocolypse Now - his scenes were cut thou.
I was thinking that recently to. I watched a lot of 80' s flicks and was thinking what it would be like if acting rolls switched around. Emilio in back to the future Tom cruise and Kerri Green in the Breakfast Club Michael J Fox or Robert Downey Jr in Risky Business.
I was imagining the other day, Michael J. Fox playing Billy the Kid, and Emilio Estevez playing Marty McFly. They’re both very charismatic onscreen, I could definitely see it working well.
I think all the breakfast club actors had good careers and none were going to become Tom Cruise because they were more just average people with longevity without too much fanfare(?)
