Alfie is just the perfect opposite of Emily! 1. Emily loves Paris and Alfie hates Paris 2. Emily is positive/polite and Alfie is negative/rude 3. Emily is creative and Alfie is structured 4 Emily is an informal creative marketer and Alfie a formal static businessman/banker. 5. Emily wears clothes full of colors and Alfie wears only gray and suits. 6. Emily is a dreamer and Alfie is a down to earth type 7. Emily lives to work and Alfie works to live 8. Emily is enthusiastic and outgoing and Alfie is calm and introverted. 9. Emily is American and Alfie is British 10. Emily is very emotional and Alfie is very rational Pretty funny when you look at it that way. He's the exact opposite of Emily.

i like emily and alfie more because I feel that they have more in common. They are both foreigners to france/paris & are both trying to learn french! Also I just love how emily acts around alfie more than gabriel. She feels so much more free around alfie. Edit: also, I love there “enemies to lovers” thing going on. I know that they weren’t really enemies to begin with but they did find each other annoying! Also I completely forgot the fact that being with Gabriel would bring so much drama into EVERYONES lives so that’s another reason why being with Gabriel would SUCK!

No they don't. She likes Paris and he can't wait to go back to London. She actually tries to learn French, he doesn't. The only thing they have in common is that they are foreigners in France and in season 3 they'll nothing in common since he's going back to London.

Maybe they are not perfect for each others. And I think, at the begging of the next season they will break up. But come on! They have something more than speaking in the same language. I get that you do not have to see it but I am detecting this spark in their relationship.

Pardon me, I know that I’m late to the chat but.. Emily and Gabriel = LUST not Love. You are confusing passion and chemistry with love, once the passion dies down one or both individuals become bored with one another. Unfortunately, Gabriel shows has shown no interest in committing to anything other than his career and sad to say, she is looking more like ‘booty-call’ or a side-chick. Emily and Alfie = GENUINE INTEREST, still not Love as we haven’t seen much of Alfie’s character development. And yes he’s ticks every box in being the ‘Perfect Man’. Now to people who are so used to toxicity, this will be boring. Which is so sad :( that they don’t know what it means to be truly love and cared for.

Not forgetting the fact that i love Alfie but I want Emily and Gabriel to end up together. Agreeing to the fact thay Alfie and Emily look good together, have a lot in common and their relationship is a lot less complicated yet every time Gabriel looks at Emily, it feels like it's meant to be. In the same way I love Camille but I feel like Emily and Gabriel are just perfect. You can even see in season 2 that though Emily has Alfie yet every time she's around Gabriel, she has a different kinda spark in her eyes.💗

I prefer Emily with Alfie. I liked her with Gabriel in season 1 but things between them dragged on in season 2 and it felt a little forced. I'm sure the writers will have Emily end up with Grabriel but if I were Emily, I would choose Alfie, no contest.

I have watch the entire season for 1 day and my gahd the feels between emily and gabriel is fucking insane. their complicated love story reminds me of love, rosie where she is the main actress. that cliffhanger at season 2 kills me. I guess that's what you get if you don't admit your true feelings towards someone because you are afraid, you lost them. I can't wait to see season 3. I hope they end up together because it will never make sense how it was entitled emily in paris but will never end up with a parisian guy.

I don’t know how people are Team Alfie… he doesn’t like Emily for who she is! He likes her for who he thinks she SHOULD BE.. which is this “fun” person he keeps accusing of her NOT BEING. She tries to be “fun” for him… we haven’t even been given a chance to see her and Gabriel together - how do we know he doesn’t make her laugh.. “like Alfie.” Emily and Gabriel are both hurting each other - her denying her feelings for him and him going back to Camille.. maybe they’re toxic but Emily and Gabriel have to be endgame. That’s it.

That's the point. They are toxic. But scriptwriters know that viewers love relationships like this. But to be honet I am little tired of something like this. That's why I started to like Alfie and Emily. I am not totally into them. Because they are not perfect for each others, they are different and in the long run it just can't work out. But they are more peaceful in my opinion, even though it's not a healthy relationship neither.

Hmm no. Alfi is actually uncomplicated and he really likes her, he brings out her fun side it’s not like he was asking her to change her friends for him or to start liking football. Gabriel is toxic, unassuming and a real codependent

He loves her passion for her work and 100% supports her. Alfie himself is a work man but doesn’t like Emily’s work side. Sorry but you can’t be with a man who only loves one side of you.

@@JustAnotherGirl22 Gabriel is a walking red flag- cheating on a gf for 5 years for Emily. It was kinda cute in season 1 but this season? It got annoying and insensitive, the magic is gone for me, it looks forced to make it a slow burn. Alfie starts off with the Brit sarcasm but warmed up and loved Emily. He didn’t make her change, he was just teasing her and loosen up. Sad if the show doesn’t push for their endgame.

In season 2 episode 7, when Gabriel finds out that Emily again hooked up with Alfie, it was just so disheartening. I couldnt believe that it was always easy for her to cheat on every guy she's with. After all Gabriel is a true gem.

i saw many people say "Emily and Gabriel have no chemistry" Emily and Gabriel? eMiLy and gaBriEl??? EMILY AND GABRIEL? Like, every single second of them being together, all i see is this suppressed tension between them and that little voice saying "just get together already" i mean, those two are the DEFINITION of chemistry, guys 😭, and if you can't see it, im sorry but you don't understand romance... Plus, Alfie was a wonderful guy, i agree and didn't deserve that kind of a breakup. but srsly, he is not at all meant for Emily. they are literally two opposite ends of a comparison. above all, him and her vibed together better as friends, considering he didn't even give her the benefit of the doubt. y'all, it's always been Gabriel and Emily. they are just the right amount of perfect for each other.

Gabriel is a cheat. Not because he feels attracted to some other woman inspite of having a 5 year long relationship, but because he doesn't even inform about this to his girlfriend. Both don't! Alfie is a character I really like. Not messing up other's life because of self-indecisiveness.

Watching this again after finishing S3 and it just solidified my love for Gabriel. I love Alfie, I do and I feel really bad for him. BUT we can all agree that the chemistry and the spark is just NOT there. They look good together and I adore their moments but those are nothing compared to when Emily and Gabriel are together. The way they look at each other is already ENOUGH to express all the unspoken feelings. The sparks, the chemistry, the tension, the push-and-pull, and the LOVE. My heart was literally breaking when he drunkenly confessed that he fell in love with her the minute he saw her standing at his door. How could he not? 🥲💔 Ugh, I just wish S4 would be released soon.

Alfie and Gabriel both look at Emily like she’s the only one in the world for them, in my opinion I would love to see her with Gabriel but I think she’s the toxic one. She was with Alfie when she went to Gabriel’s house and she kissed Alfie after Gabriel. I purely don’t think she deserves either of them. :)
