I guess after every 25 year old one hit wonder newbie gets their oscar...they'll turn to Emily. She'll be 36 this month and has two oscar worthy films this year - no nominations!
I seriously have high hopes on her winning the Oscar. She's super talented, and definitely deserves global recognition. Devil Wears Prada is the first movie I remember, and I fall in love with Emily instantly, which was not a popular choice when it comes to favourite actress back then. I'm so proud to be a fan. She's golden.
"appruciate" there it is again lmao. the interviewer's right tho. with many actors it's hard to separate the previous roles you've seen them in and love but there are those that you just eventually completely forget they're even acting and just get carried away by them. emily is definitely the latter.
I love LOVE both Emily and Cate, amazing actresses but Meryl will be the only Meryl of our generation. Her acting is phenomenal and theres just something about the way she does it that’s incomparable to others
Emily Blunt, beautiful and mysterious, intense and lost, strong and fragile, a magnetic look that does not need many words for a book ... a sense of tough women!
Vince Adkins Or something sounds correct. LOL To me it look like the way someone looks at another person when they are "casing" them, you know, like to figure out what they are about, but in a non-trusting way. I don't know that's just my perspective. It's still funny cause most people do that and don't realize it, but the fact that was live tv is just funny.
I agree except that 'most people' don't do that - you'll see women do this judgemental once-over more than men. it's a sly city syndrome meant to convey hostility; decent folks don't do it, though they may recognize it and it's easy to adopt. However annoying the hosts, they're passively messing around, that's their brief; and it's immature for any guest to take it that seriously.
I like Emily very much, she's a good actress, but there's just no comparison between her and the only Meryl Streep. We can't even talk about that like this :D (but again, Emily is great!) "The Meryl Streep of our generation is MERYL STREEP." Easy. I mean.. there is NO ONE like Meryl Streep in ANY generation of generations.... She's the one and only. Unreachable.
I loev how humble she is about getting such a huge compliment. More of that British embarassment she called out on Paula XD. Loved this book and movie, I've got a book to film review of it on my channel, just click my name!
Neither have Sigourney Weaver, Glenn Close, Albert Finney, Gary Oldman, Ralph Fiennes, Ed Norton, Julianne Moore, Samuel L Jackson, Richard Burton, Alan Rickman, etc etc. Not having an Oscar doesn't mean that much. And calling Blunt good doesn't mean that they don't think Blanchette isn't- she just wasn't in the studio.
Emily Blunt is a good actress but she looks nothing like meryl streep and is nothing like her either 😕 those show hosts are fakes and full of sh*t! I bet emily was glad to get out the studio after that interview 😉
