Emily seems fantastic as the Baker's Wife. The film seems very good and I propose that if "Into The Woods" is as good as it looks, Rob Marshall should direct the "Wicked" film version.
Are there plans for a film adaptation of Wicked because that would be AWESOME!! They would have to get the right crew to direct, produce and act in it though cuz as a fan, I demand nothing less than perfection.
warriorbard It's been confirmed to be in production! It's coming out in 2016. Though it sucks because Idina and Kristin were told they're too old to be Elphaba and Galinda in the movie. Also I really hope the get the casting right.
I watched this video yesterday and I thought it was absolutely phenomenal. I loved the story's plot and how it's so twisted but comes together in the end. BRAVO!
the marketing for this movie is pretty clever, i bet everyone will leave the theater complaining like they did Sweeney Todd not realizing its based on a musical
+residentevil4life Some guy in my biology class didn't know it was a musical even though you can hear like bits of the chorus in the background of the trailer :/
omfg when my teacher showed us Les Mis in french class, the kids were like “UGH why are they SINGING so much” and i turned around and was like “it’s a musical...”
love her! i went to see the movie "into the woods" strictly for her because i can't stand musicals (what can i say! i know they are good and such great talent, i just don't like them! don't like animation films either! anyway)... she is one of a very small handful of new "it" people i will see be in anything (amy adams, jessica chastain).. glad she's is getting attention, roles and success and i hope she continues upward and onward in her career!...
last musicals i saw before "into the woods" were EVITA and ROCK of AGES which i did both enjoy.. but otherwise musicals annoy me they just do whether a movie musical or a play musical... like i said i know there's talent doing it up on stage or on film i just can't bear to hear it!
i went to a catholic grade school and it was considered EVIL to even mention much less sing a song from jesus christ superstar! lol! i remember one kid singing out loud "jesus christ superstar, who in the hell do you think you are!" oh boy did he get in trouble with the nuns who happened to overhear him trying to be funny singing this loudly outloud!...
She is fantastic. She sang so beautifully. I loved this movie, but this scene was one of my favorites. The other two were the witch singing at the end and all of them singing about whose fault it is.
If she was my wife i would never get sad in my whole life, forget her Hollywood acting or fame or her money. I mean she is very romantic inside and humorous woman, just inspiring and mesmerizing without even showing on tv... love you Emily wholeheartedly😔😔
I find it so uncool and so absolutely REVOLTING that some people come into the commentary section JUST TO SPOIL THE END OF THE MOVIE! I've waited months for the release in my country, and now I simply know the end. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, BASTARDS
I adore both women, on a professional level as well as how cute they are. Amy is stunningly beautiful in her (I'm guessing navy) blue attire. Especially her navy blue nylons, so very elegant and attractive.while at the same time off the chart sexy. The two women seem to genuinely enjoy each other's company. It appears they would make good and solid friends with each other.
Mat Gudelis Host? It's not a male but a woman, thus..._hostess_. You do discriminate between male and female form in the "United States of Unconsciousness" don't you? Right? Barman, Barmaid, Hero, Heroine. etc etc. Now onto your question: the name of the hostess is amy robach.
Oh wow. Like, I just saw these two comments. I'm a feminist, I really am. What I'm not is a native speaker of English, so an occasional mistake will happen.
Matt Gudelis You're a feminist? Sorry to hear that, not that it has anything to do with the subject matter. That aside, you should learn to use male and female form, and in a correct way. Host = male form. Hostess = female form. And in case you haven't noticed, men and women are very much _different_
Tom Helms I hate this movie, and the reason is I don't like musical, why I went to see it in the first place, because of the false marketing everywhere even on IMDb it doesn't say that this movie is a musical. I left the theater the minute they started to sing.
Mohammed Khaliji That is your own damn fault. Video trailers clearly told me it was one. There is a live musical called into the woods that came out in 1991.
