It's just in the Bones fandom there are so many people that complain about people shipping DE and I honestly think people should accept it and ignore it if they don't like it. I just don't see it has a big thing for people to complain about. I understand your definition and I want the same thing. We can never have too much DE.
@shrimpsmiaka1995 Well if you're talking about her stepping out of the shower incorrectly, I believe Hart Hanson tweeted about it. If you're talking about spraining her ankle in late season 1, Emily and David talked about it on the commentary from Two Bodies in a Lab :)

If it's not your cup of tea, ignore it. David and Emily are not the only ones people ship in real life. While extreme die hards DE fans annoy me, people who complain about them annoy me more. They aren't going to stop shipping them if you tell them not to. People still ship David with Charisma or Sarah and it's been years since Buffy/Angel ended.
David didn't do anything to her. She stepped out of her shower in correctly. But she did sprain her ankle back in late Season 1 because David & her were going out for drinks and he parked incorrectly. So when she got out the car, she somehow sprained her ankle.
It's obvious to anyone with eyes. David and Emily are in love. I have to laugh when I read people say David is in love with his wife - have you people seen pictures of David and Jamie vs. David and Emily? Night and day. people. Body language doesn't lie - it's all there. And the way David talks about Emily? Haven't heard him say one thing about Jamie, not the way he speaks about Emily. I've been watching these two, they are meant to be. Gonna happen eventually - everything meant to, does.
@NovakBenson Oh really? Because I have all the seasons of Bones on DVD and watched the only commentary Emily and David had which was on the 1st season, and for some reason I don't remember this. Then again it has been a while since I watched that one/that commentary. Thanks :)
You are all blind. They're in love. Body language doesn't lie, I do it for a living. You read it here and some day when they decide to do something about it, you can say you read it here first. Very likely when the series ends. These two are meant to be.

@NAIKA, I tend to agree with ANOMIE612. At ComicCon this year all Emily did was talk about David. Even when she said she had a broken toe, she said David did something to her. I couldn't quite make it out. Does anybody know what she said David did to her?

You must be either a friend of David/Emily or are just privy to private information about them that nobody else knows. LUCKY YOU. BUT they are NOT IN LOVE with eachother.... big difference...who are we to judge davids and jamies marriage? don't forget that emily has a boyfriend... how do you think they would feel if they could read what you write? emily often told the press that she feels uncomfortable kissing david..... Yeah his marriage is going perfectly especially with that BIG cheating story that has come out about him recently. Let's not pretend you know what's going on between Jamie and David. Who cares if people want David and Emily together? They aren't the only co-stars people ship in real life. People think Jared and Jensen are in love and they are both straight men.
