Emily in Paris Season 2 Outfits | Favorite Brands with Price Tags 

Emily in Paris is supposed to be a love letter to fashion, but nothing Emily wears makes any sense to her character. She repeatedly says that she knows nothing about fashion, doesn’t understand it, but keeps wearing luxury designer brands. The styling choices also make no sense with Emily’s character- she’s super rigid and her outfits are always loud with clashing prints, and really strange accessories. I understand they wanted to make her the modern Carrie Bradshaw but she’s nothing like Carrie. Carrie actually cares about fashion, and the show explicitly explains how Carrie is always broke because of her shopping habit. Carries outfits also made sense with her outgoing personality. They are just decking lily collins out in designer for the sake of designer clothing. None of the pieces look good together even though they are beautiful pieces individually. If they wanted to take the luxury designer route, they could have easily styled her in thom browne, which is known for their corporate style. The only person who consistently dresses well in this show is sylvie. All of her clothing makes sense with her character, and the styling of each piece is perfect

She wears such unique outfits!

People love to bash emily's style but all the pieces in this video are impecable! She's the best dressed in my opinion much better than Camille. Very vibrant and lively and young. Serena from gossip girl coul be wearing the exact same things and ya'll would call her a fashion icon 🙄 hopefully the costume designer won't get disheartened by the internet and continue to do her thing and I'm predicting Emily will be considered a fashion icon after 5 years or so

I hate every outfit ! So many colors and prints it’s too much ! Love the other characters style but with Emily they choose so many nasty colors and put them all on her !
