For a moment I thought you were talking about the fantastic BBC series "Being Human" about a vampire, a ghost and a werewolf living together. It wasn't until I typed it into RU-vid that I realised there was an SU episode also called "Being Human".

When listening to this song I really tho it sounded familiar some how and also wait I thought su don't use real song that aren't already made and of course this is the first they've done it. The beat progression from beginning to end is crazy good! I initially felt some Bali vibes in the beginning, but then slowly turned into retro 90 synth and grooves by the chorus. Classic Emily in the making.
I've been a fan of Emily King and Steven Universe for years and their fusion is so amazing! I encourage all other SU fans to check out the rest of her music. Also go see her live if you ever get the chance, her shows are an experience.
This song was such a beautiful moment for expressing how free and confident Steven and Connie feel as Stevani, as well as the ending series message of needing to also love yourself and be comfortable in your own skin. That was one of my favorite scenes from the after series and why I looked up the rest of this song.
Man, listening to the rest of this song, it's pretty clear why we only got a sample of it for Steven Universe Future. And knowing that Connie loves this song REALLY shows how much she's grown up. XD
One of the major themes of Steven Universe is celebration of all the different forms of romantic and sexual expression. It makes sense to include a song about self love as well. It is obvious from the comments here that if a Steven Universe fan "isn't ready" to understand what the song is about, they can still love it. Those who do understand get an extremely positive affirmation of an activity which is often shamed in the broader culture. I think the choice to include the song in a SU episode, knowing that it would lead fans here, was very deliberate, subversive, and sex positive. A small example of why I love this show so much.
Right after watching the latest SUF episode, I looked up this song and thought, "I wish there was a full version somewhere," and boom. This exists. Guess I'll be jamming to this song for the next few thousand years~

Omg I didn't think they actually used a track song for Steven universe future, they usually make their own original songs. This is new to me and I love it ! This song is so underrated and I fell in love with this when I heard this in the episode. Thanks SUF! And oh, I am a SU fan too 😂❤️
