To the people who dislike Paige with Emily, please stop blaming Paige. The problem is coming from Emily. Emily is the character who has been the most affected by all the dramatic "A" events. Especially after Maya's death. She lost her first love, then her first girlfriend. Type "Emily and Paige season 1" and watch the videos. Emily is not the same person. Their chemistry is different now because of that. I really hope that the writers will allow Emily to find her true self again and be fully happy in the end. With Paige. I firmly believe they are meant to be together. With everything they've gone through together and how much they love each other, it would be too cruel to separate them.
proud2beQC yes! Exactly. Alison is messing with her head and guilting her and with Maya’s death she’s very susceptible. Watch the scene after the dollhouse where she’s trying to feel empowered again through shooting practice. It’s because Maya tried to use her as a protector but she didn’t cave and since Maya’s death she blames herself and has put herself into this role in order to keep her loved ones like Spencer and Paige from dying. Alison is using her protective tendencies and playing the victim to get her to baby her so she will lower her guard. Paige hates being the victim though and constantly tried to be strong for Emily and puts on a brave front all the time despite what is going on inside her. It’s because early one she found out Emily likes strong women and she has been trying to hide her vulnerable side since then. She’s not trying to take advantage of Emily she is trying to be considerate and protect her. She doesn’t want to burden her with her own problems so she doesn’t bring them up. It’s through word of mouth that Emily even finds out she is struggling BECAUSE she loves her and cares about her so much. Unlike Alison who keeps making a show of being wounded and sad because of so and so. Paige may know Alison was lying through her teeth but she knows Emily is not ready to hear that yet and she’s stepping back to let her figure shit out for herself. It’s mature and it shows how secure she is and while she is hurting she won’t beg and waste her life groveling to try to speed up the process of getting back together. I am very proud of her
