Kamikaze made me believe he still had it after the disappointing revival. I thought he was done tbh and not because I didn't think he was good anymore, but because I felt that his hunger wasn't there. Usually when someone whether they're an artist, athlete, etc, once they accomplish everything they then have to dig deep to find inspiration, and all of the people who were hating on him including critics gave him that inspiration to make an album like Kamikaze. Revival imo would've been good for any other artist as it had some good tracks, but overall not good for Em's standards

I am an Eminem Stan, and I didn't feel Revival at first. It wasn't the Eminem I was used to. But after I watched the lyric video for Untouchable. And understanding what Em was trying to do, I went back and love the album.

You need to hear Kings Never Die, Guts Over Fear, and Gnat. The flows and cadence take over the song . And I feel Gnat will hit with bars yall will catch because it's relevant

When on a BET cypher a few years back, it was all aimed at Trump and half his fans were trashing Em after it being he end the cypher with "F**k Trump* and some other stuff directly into the camera. This track/album was a response to critics and damn near everybody disliking his album "Revival" like 4 years back being it had Pop hooks, so this track/album is when he started mixing in mainstream hip-hop and reinvented himself. Eminems "Story mode" verses always have an Inside story to where if u don't know it, ur missing most of the point but he spits impressive enough to cover all his bases nomatter who's listening. Revival was dope IMO (in a mature/unique way), but hip-hop heads trashed it but it still went Platinum!
