The thing about forever that is hard to explain is the climate it was released in. You had peak Kanye, peak Wayne on the song with Drake who at the time was on a lighting accent. But also, at the end you had Eminem who hadn't made music in 5 years. Every said he was probably done with music. Also, there were no leaks. The first time 99% of people herd that song was on the radio. You didn't know who was next. But when that "there they go" everyone was hyped tf up

Screw, I get what you’re saying about the choppy flow and I get it. But he also opens up his rhyme schemes so much more with that flow in my opinion. Like that Cole Bennett/ Cole been at bar wouldn’t have worked any other way. Plus I feel that opened up Em’s technicality level of rap. I personally love every version of Eminem and every phase he’s gone through. I’m still trying to figure out why everyone hated revival so much. But I love what everyone hating revival produced from Eminem. He tapped into an entirely different rapper after that. He got that prove everybody wrong mentality and it created this new technical version of Eminem that we have today I feel. I just can’t get over how he continues to get better with his rhyme scheme and putting doubles and triples together. Just my opinion! Keep doing what you do brotha! We appreciate your content.

I think it’s worth considering his sobriety as a turning point in his style and obviously song topics. He got off the drugs and got hooked on making the most rappity rap bars (which I enjoy) .. The original version of this song was slim shady on drugs and I think you can document the change in his beat selection and flow variety
